It's not. With Spain beating Greece it would still be possible to go to third with two wins. Plus you'd wanna ensure the best draw going forward finishing on top.

Maybe. Just struggle to see him getting any minutes. I reckon he'll be back playing NBL pretty quickly. I like his energy though. He'll be a good towel waver on that bench

Have to say, if furphy and zikarsky become the players they look like we’re going to be very dangerous next World Cup and Olympics.

Refs weren’t calling much either way it’s certainly not NBA rules out there. Margin was about right in the end in terms of the quality

Nah there was 2 different rule books out there.

We were pretty clearly the better team in the first half, break even / close in 3rd and beaten in 4th, but without the refs who can say how easy it is for Canada to do what they did in the 4th if they’re down.

Better team won. But goddam are FIBA games frustrating to watch. Rules change from possession to possession. I mean they called an incorrect goaltending call, then watched that call on video with clear evidence the call was wrong. Then just upheld the call anyway

Ah well. Canada have one of the top 10 players in the world and 2 other guys who put up 20 a night in the NBA.

We just don't have the fire power to have stretches of stupidity and Goorj's lineups and beat them.

Daniel’s was terrible can’t even keep the ball. These NBA players with their dumbass showboat passes and selfish attempts doing it all on their own cost us.

Patty back to his warm up games form, needed to hit some 3s Goulding in his last 2 warm up games was hot from 3 needed to pick him as a impact player

Still reckon Thybulle and Goulding were stiff not to get pick

Pick 3 Centres and we play One, surely Duop was worth more of a look

They missed calls both ways, SGA was being fouled a lot if this was the NBA he’d have had at least another 10 free throws. They let a fair bit go and that’s fine.
