Really big mistake imo by rowing australia to put 3 of the 4 of the 2021 quad gold medal crew into the eight this time around. The 8’s on,y just made the final and will likely come last. Big fail.
It was. Women’s pair and Tara Rigney are our best medal hopes in the rowing. Only silver or bronze though as the Dutch are team to be beat in both these events.

It was a bit of a surprise, but not a big one, as were expected to medal.
3 of the 4 have moved to row in men's 8's which I thought were a chance to win, but their 2 rows so far suggests a bronze will be hard to win.

The 3x3 Basketball is good to watch
Maybe I am misrembering due to been quite young last time I ever really paid any attention to rowing, but have we got way worse? Less rowers coming through the private schools since all the other team sports outside of cricket, league and AFL started becoming more popular?

maybe having a crowd and 4 more years growth could make it a bit more interesting

Don't get me wrong, I'll take any win over the seppos. But you may as well have futsol and air hockey in the games.
