Love the 1500m, one of my favourite events.

That was my pet event back in my school athletics days.

I didn't have the speed for the sprint events or the endurance for the longer distance events but the 1500m suited me to a tee,

Mine was 800, had high school track record for 3 years too. Can watch track and field all day.

He was getting blocked and elbowed almost the whole race.

The trouble with there being no 'fastest qualifiers' anymore means these middle distance races are gonna be slow early and rough.

I'm predicting he goes nowhere this event. When the pace went on he went backwards so quickly. Even if he backed off, the early signs were alarming.
