So many of our track athletes seem to have no kick these games

McSweyn, Hoare, Bol and Hall have all been swallowed up when the pace gets turned up

She didn't just sit in the back and go backwards (as plenty do).

Knowing she doesn't have a great kick, she tried to surge - but not to be.

If there was a natural front-runner in that race instead of a pack of joggers, she woulda had a much better chance.

Most don't have a kick anywhere (without a pacer to stretch out the field) - even in domestic competition.

Bloody hell 18 qualified for women's pole vault not standard 12 due to not being able to separate so many on countback.

It might take 4 hours like the men's PV sometimes does.

dos Santos stupidly shut down too early again and didn't get 2nd spot so has to wait to see if makes one of fastest 2 losers in 400m hurdled Warholm cruised to victory.
