oh ffs! is nothing sacred? The commission is loaded and yet is more than happy to sell off a piece of WA history and identity for a few more bucks.

Shameless whores:thumbsdown:

It would seem thank god that not all is set in stone.

I would love to know why the WAFC feels the need to sell their soul for such a crap name. With the money they receive from both the dockers and eagles and very little seems to be going back to grass roots football you have to ask how much is spent on "admin" and where the rest is going.

Over here in Melbourne , our new multi purpose venue is going to be called AAMI Park.

So when former Quizmania Babe Amy Parks who is now a Melbourne 9 News Reporter ever does a live cross , from there , during the 9 news.

We will hear Peter Hitchener say "We are now crossing live to Amy Parks at AAMI Park" :p:p:p

MELBOURNE'S new $270 million "bubble" stadium will be christened AAMI Park in an eight-year naming rights deal.

The insurance giant has signed a multi-million-dollar deal for the stadium, which will be home to Melbourne Storm, Melbourne Victory and new rugby union side the Melbourne Rebels.

Renaming the stadium won't change the fact that it is one of the worst football stadiums in the country. Not enough capacity and terrible facilities, they need to knock it down and build a new one with at least an 80,000 seat capacity.

Besides that it's a terrible name and will never catch on. It will always be known as Subiaco Oval.

Right on. That's why I bought Foxtel this year - better seats on my couch than in that sh*itbox.
