I can tell you if my team was 26 pts down in the last at home about to lose their 9th straight to a rival and my coach was acting like a freaking clown on the boundary i'd be pissed off!

No you wouldn't, you'd be defending Malthouse.

not a chance, i'd be going him if he was sitting on the boundary in a match that was needed to be won to consolidate final 8 position and being down by 26 points.
Media love Roos and there he is giving off signals that it doesn't matter despite his bull$hit histrionics at quarter time. Should step down with the selfish attitude he is displaying.

I suppose that's Roos. He showed a different side at the quarter time huddle , which to me showed how desperate he was to win tonight. Not much was going to change when the camera panned to him.

If Mick acted like that, the anti-MM brigade would be firing up the torches and grabbing their pitchforks. Roos luckily coaches in a town where nobody really gives a rats either.

Besides, that bloke ate the last lolly.

Wow, everyone asks for players coaches to be more personable yet criticize when something like this happens. Seriously people need to get over trivial stuff like this, he obviously wanted to win. Don't confuse a relaxed nature with lack of heart/desire to win
Throughout the year we have seen the same with roosy, i.e. taking a specky on lynch pre match. Good for the game IMO

Was definitely weird. I rate Roos probably the best coach in the league, and so do many others, so he's afforded the benefit of the doubt with these things, but when he's throwing lolly wrappers and laughing during an important game when he's teams getting beaten, i dunno, just seemed strange. I don't mind it from a non-swans perspective, it's interesting to see something different, bit if i was a swans fan, i'm not so sure.

Seriously, anyone who can question Roos over that is clutching at straws.

What next, didn't like his demeanour when his assistant took his last lolly?

No need to question his personality just because we lose. He has been the same for years and we have been pretty good over those years. Everyone around us just laughed when it went up on the big screen.

whatever.......

still doesnt leave a good leadership impression on the player group.Roos has the cue in the rack bigtime

OK... so when the game is still there to be won and he shows real passion it doesn't count - but when the game is all but over and he looks too relaxed body language is suddenly important again?

Anyone else want to have a guess at Paul Roos state of mind from a 5 second TV grab with no sound. Jeesus if anyone doubts his determination just remember that prior to his arrival the Swans were anywhere between a decent side to a bad one. The man has overseen the greatest culture shift in a club in a 70 year period and people still want to question him because when the games over he finds something to have a play laugh about.

I'd hate to see some of you with a friend of mine when we were flying into St Petersburg and he pointed out one of the engines on fire, the crew went into emergency mode and everyone started screaming but him... he just kept making jokes. suppose he just wanted to die.

I hate to break it to you but your friend is probably a terrorist.
