Is there a league policy for what might happen with Rance? Obviously, he's technically retired but if the door is ajar for him to return and he's on the DFA list then is it just fair game for anyone to take him? Or would I happen to get first rights to have him on my list again? It's a cruel retirement on top of holding him for all of 2019.

Potentially more delistings to come I guess.

Up to you, if he's still on their list you can hold him, just a questions of whether you want to use a list spot on him. I had a similar thing with Roberton at the start of last year...

GC have some really nice young top end talent now. I'd take their list over Melbourne's and a few other teams not that that's saying a lot. Inheriting garbage teams just means there's more coaching for you to do
