Yeh it's a little disappointing for sure. Thanks for the heads up i'll see what's up with the coaches in question. I think we're looking at needing 1-2 new coaches next season which should be no problem

Also congratulations to Tom Mitchell and Mitchell to Daniher for winning the league medal in a landslide. He shrugged off the disappointment of 3rd last year and really dominated from the start.

Bit annoyed to miss out finals to a team that was 17 games below 500 and somehow ended with a winning record but really paid the price for having an inept ruck division all year.

It's a mystery to everyone i think. It's a tough pill to swallow getting beaten by three quarters of a team but I guess the teams down the bottom, myself included, need to up their game so we don't lose to such teams.
What does this mean?
I'm rapt to make finals in my first season after a big list turnover - I didn't feel confident at all.

list turnover seems the only way to do it (climb the ladder quickly), but you do need to be brave! Well done!

His win record was 17 games below his loss record. So for the entire season he was somehting like won 132 categories lost 149 categories. He would need to win 17 more categories to get back to 50/50 (or in US sporting terms .500)

On this topic Thommo has just gotten back to me and has resigned as life has gotten in the way.
Striker is also looking unlikely for next season though he hasn't completely given up hope of playing and I'd like to keep him in the league if possible as he's normally very active and will always respond to trade offers etc. He'll be making a decision on whether he can put the time in to this in a few months.
So we're looking for 1 new coach and possibly 2 for 2019. If anyone knows any good candidates feel free to get them in here, though there's no rush with the off season approaching.

The team somehow crept into 8th despite the manager not setting his lineups for most of the season so you could still feasibly lead the team to a surprise premiership. I know the trade period is closed until after finals, but just putting it out there that it is likely I am going to have to delist 3 players who I think are worthy of a squad spot. I have a good idea of who those three players are already, so may as well put it out there now, with any trade to be confirmed at end of year.
