So, the AFL is telling us to forgive and forget and have decided that rather than punish James Hird for running the largest doping programme in Australian sporting history, he can instead hand out the Norm Smith medal to the player judged Best On Ground in this year's Grand Final.
So my question is, who would have been better suited to hand out the award?
How about one of the following:
This guy admitted what he did was wrong
Not sure a woman has ever handed out the award. How about a sporting champion who admitted her faults
This guy just loves the lotion and would help restore the respectability of the award
For bonus points, given the path the AFL has decided to go down, who would make a great Norm Smith medal judge?
I reckon this guy
