Are we starting to outgrow the new Perth Stadium already?

I didn't realise there was still a waiting list for Eagles members.Premature evaluation at best.

It'll be like AO. First few years people keep saying that and then the hype settles and it's pretty much perfect size.
If the Eagles finish bottom four, they'll probably get 40,000 odd. There will still be a waiting list because people want to retain their memberships for winning seasons, but plenty of members just won't show.Nah, not for West Coast. Even if they have a few losing seasons they'll still have plenty of people on the waiting list willing to take up memberships if given the chance.
Bear in mind the cheapest adult ticket at their games is $55. Fifty five ******* dollars for the shit blocks behind the goals. They'd get 80k+ a game with the right stadium and Victorian prices.
Assertions that 60k was enough were utter nonsense from the outset. We didn't need to experience it to know that.
60k was all the dockers and Eagles wanted. they want a more demand than supply situation so they can both continue to rip off their members. an 80k stadium they would not of been interested in as that would mean prices would be lower and memberships would have to be lowered.
Make no mistake the Eagles and Dockers had a very big say in the size of the stadium.

This is the thing a lot still dont get, especially over East. Especially at Subiaco, but I suspect still now, just because the stadium wasn't full, doesn't mean that everyone who was interested in going was there. Saying, they only got 50K to this game, shows they got the size right, is wrong. they would have got 10k more with a 10k bigger stadium in most cases.Maybe, but i'd be inclined to think it would be closer to 45k, and even that would be due to the size of the stadium. If the ground was 80k they'd probably average low 70's in a good year and 60k in a bad year, mostly because they'd sell 75k reserved seats before the season even begins.
The size of West Coast is so underrated by almost everyone, they are easily Australia's largest sporting club. Daylight would be 2nd.

Most of the lukewarm or reluctant Eagles supporters got soaked up by Freo. Another team does not shake loose many more imop.Looks like the answer to using the stadium more efficiently might be to start a 3rd team in Perth. Soak up the excess demand & save $Millions in expansion costs.

3rd team in Perth is a stupid idea, stop bringing it up.
actually its an excellent idea3rd team in Perth is a stupid idea, stop bringing it up.
