Will lack the bells and whistles like FIFA has as usual, but I have no doubt it will play better.

"A new system called Enhanced Collision System will be introduced where the different situations have major influence how a player's collision pans out. The response time in the control of players has also improved, meaning players can pull of all those nice moves and skill sets faster and with better timing. Players now have control over player goal celebrations, too—like taking a selfie with a smartphone after a successful goal."

Apparently ML has been revamped too.

 
PES 2016 runs on the Fox Engine, which also powers Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and the upcoming Phantom Pain. "Every facet of the game has been enhanced to deliver yet another outstanding product" that aims to stand up as the "definitive football experience," Konami said.

Among other things, PES 2016 will deliver an "advanced collision system" that calculates how players interact, thus resulting in "unique outcomes" based on how two players collide. The game also gives players greater control when in the air. "Use the left stick to battle the opposition or disrupt a larger, more powerful, player; or find the best position to make the header/volley," Konami said.

PES 2016 also includes enhancements to 1v1 player control, with response times improved to help players deke out their opponents when charging toward the net. Other new features include improvements to defense (perform a tackle at the "perfect time" and you'll get the ball for a quick counter chance), smarter player AI that means you no longer need to manually trigger a one-two, and advancements to goalkeeping mechanics to allow for more variety in catching, clearing, and deflecting shots.

Further still, PES 2016 includes new goal celebration controls, and better visuals across the board, including dynamic weather (players will slip and fall in rainy weather) and a new wide camera. There are also a variety of new player animations, new ball physics, and improvements to the game's Master League and myClub modes, as well as new commentary.

Konami also says it signed a new three-year deal with UEFA for Champions League competition. This allows Konami to feature the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League tournaments in PES.

Damn that looks good. Have been waiting for PES to return to it's former glory, even though I still find the latest games are funner and play better than FIFA.

FIFA I enjoy for the first month before the flaws start to show up and you work out how to score, which inevitably makes every game feel the same. That's always been the beauty of PES, there is no set formula to scoring. It can come from anywhere and every goal is unique which is why I actually enjoy playing offline more.

I still don't know why that happens in the FIFA games, especially if you aren't pushing buttons and no one's falling down ...

a slide tackle from anywhere other than front on and you're done. even from side on and you take all ball. the amount of ridiculously shitty penalties that get given are absurd too. run into someone, penalty. dont even press tackle but people somehow fall over, penalty.

to have a game where they dont even know the rules to the sport is staggering. they have to win me over this year, cos 15 largely was a joke.

Basically the computer can do what it want 95% of the time. You can do what you want 5%.

Yeah, the officiating is absurd.

And the keepers too ffs, hit the ball out for a corner.

Computer gets away with everything, conservative tackle, second min, yellow card. Absolute crap.
 
Another thing that shits me with 2015 is that I'll tackle someone, they'll fall over and bring you down with them thus negating any advantage you might gain from the tackle.

That's so me haha. I'm so well balanced in every other aspect of life but when I play FIFA, I lose the plot haha.

On Friday night I sent a controller into the couch after I lost a game 1-0. I had 16 shots (10 on target) and lost to 1 shot (1 on target). I know that it's plausible in real life but when it happened 3 games in a row, I was pretty filthy haha.

Happened to me yesterday in PES.

Had 10 (8) or something and they had 1 (1) and I lost 1-0. I just turned it off.
 
Turns out there is no 2015 thread. So this will do.

Been smashing the ML.

Got drawn against Madrid in the quarters and I thought that would be it. Lost 2-1 away. Somehow I ****ing pulverised them 5-1. Won the final on pens vs Munich.

Blew my stack playing 2015 last night against North East London. Every clean tackle I made was a yellow card and every shot I had was off target 10(0).

Lost 0-2! :mad:

Also International games absolutely kill my team, I cringe every time I see that message popping up when 15 players return from International games knowing that they'll have **** all stamina and bad form.
