Team steadily improves, starts ripping teams, Eagles thread goes dead, go figure 🤪

Washington game will be huge and give the winner a big leg up division wise. Eagles D playing at NFL top 5 level so will be a fascinating watch.

What's most impressive is covering receivers and tackling in space. Having said that it was against backup QB's, today.

The defence has looked good since the bye though, other than the 2nd half last week, but that was probably because they were up so much at half time last week they rested up in the 2nd half

I might have to self nominate for an encouragement award, I'm pretty sure I questioned the finances of the Barkley deal back in March.

Man I enjoy watching him. Seeing him beat teams up in the first half before wrecking them in the second half is fun, old school football.

I really think he or Henry will/should win OPY this year.

I hated the Fangio hire.

Turns out there's a massive difference between having someone who runs the Fangio scheme, and Fangio himself.

Doesn't always look pretty out there but whatever, there's a whole bunch of opposition fans in NFL land that'd give a left nut for that sort of record.

Last year kind of reduces the ability to get excited about either. We were here after the Dallas game. And we saw what happened.

Team has a lot of proving it to do down the stretch.

Very different feel to last season esp on defence. Everyone was waiting for last years team to fall over & they did. There just isnt the same vibe around this team - competent co-ordinators, a HC that is behaving himself (as much as he can) & an infusion of players who have made a massive difference to our prospects, heck even Dotson is looking like panning out now.

This is a much better unit than last season.

Yeah last season had a lot of close lucky wins. This season they are winning in spite of special teams. Not many teams win games where 2 fg miss or have a fg attempt returned for a td. If Elliott can sort it out or they get a new kicker hopefully only 1 more loss and that's against Steelers or Ravens and Lions lose 2 or 3 against nfc teams

I'm not sure yet. We're kind of being bailed out majorly by Saquon in unsustainable ways. Meanwhile we spend half or more of games unable to do anything on offence, and with the passing game massively underperforming its salaries. We need to be much better there to actually contend.

The defence is much improved, that's undeniable.
