Does anyone know of any club to go into recess and return for more than a year or two?

Kinglake. Officially went into recess after the 1980 season and came out of recess in 1990 and have been active ever since.

Corowa Rutherglen went into recess in 2023 then returned 2024 So it can be done but not without a lot of hard work in the next 12 months or so

Will be living locally too I heard. So great for the juniors as well to get time with him throughout the week with trainings etc

I reckon Katty shaping at pretty good with Clurey in, I reckon it will be a ripping year at the top end this year, Katty, Waaia , katandra all looking strong again, jerilderie could be exciting also

December sometime usually, but I believe there has been a delay of the fixture now that Yarroweyah won’t be playing next season.
I reckon you’ll still see it before Xmas.

I reckon Katty shaping at pretty good with Clurey in, I reckon it will be a ripping year at the top end this year, Katty, Waaia , katandra all looking strong again, jerilderie could be exciting also

I haven’t followed much of the picola league til now. Huge ins across the board. Katty front runners at the minute I’d say but katandra with some impressive ins. Co coach in Bell could be a big difference to that club and new ins I’ve heard with Fletcher Paul and Ryan Calogero joining them. Waaia still going to be hard to beat. I’m keen to see this season unfold. Leagues in strong hands with these additions to clubs.
