Fixture is out, what’s everyone’s thoughts? Predictions for an early flag contender? Which players are going to have stand out years? Any big shocks?

Looking at the draw I still think Waaia are going to be well and truly up there and I’m tipping them to win another as they have the finals experience.

Stand outs for the year, it’s hard to go past Trower from Waaia after his performance on grand final day. Bailey Bell will fit in at katandra and is gonna be one to watch, single handily won games in finals for Nathalia in the past. Jeff Garlett set to have a few big games I feel and Gerrish is sure to set the league alight.

I think my shock call is that Katamatite with all their signings will miss the grand final.

C’mon Lads, give me your tips for the year.

I reckon your right about Waaia , team to beat. I think Waaia Katandra GF repeat, but a thriller with katandra standing up better after last years disappointment , Waaia to go four in a row after extra time.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Katty made it though, reckon it will be out of those 3 with Jerilderie big improvers.
Katty have tried with a returning AFL player ( Wright) and mates but it didn’t succeed . But Clurey was delisted and is fit , whereas Wright was banged up. They look good.. Both them and katandra will be hungry , but Waaia in the end for me.

I just feel like that’s have won 3 flags in a row recently, played finals most years since but still always pushes the agenda that some clubs can bumble their way to success and they are hard done by.

unsure if Des has any official title but is still regularly at matches and lent on for advice .

As the most northern club they face challenges that others don’t.
I think we all got wound up in our own bubble and empathy for others declines.
