I like jabso's idea and it could save your life

We tried this last year, but it didn't seem to work. Would be good to get this thread up and running and get some ideas on how to make it a success. Bragging rights is one thing, but a weekley description of how the player went in your view would also add not only discussion but get a good insight and encouragement to not only the player but poster.

The Pies Buddy system will see a pick out of the hat situation. No picking which player can take you under the wings for the year. Be good to advertise your player, whether through your avatar and/or sig (everyone can now have an avatar and sig!),

Obviously we want 44 Collingwood users who are interested.

Yeh i agree with you Lonie, but if you did get dawes then you would just have to put it down to bad luck and maybe if somebody thought they wern't going to commit to the game then you could swap with them?

That would be John Anthony.

As for the rest of them, do a draft, because not only do people get to pick their player, but we get an idea of who's popular.

And in the case of Tarkyn24, he would know that he is going to get his man.

Well I think they're going with the format of making a random order and letting people pick their player, so if you want someone who plays often, you'll probably get the chance to pick someone.

I don't think anyone would be expecting people to get down to Willy and other VFL grounds every week to give updates on their player. Essentially the idea is that you get to be the most proud every time they have a good game, and you have to wear it on their behalf when they have a bad game.

So if there's a big thread bagging the crap out of the person, you have to go and interject and try to defend them, while if there's a thread about how great they are, you get to gloat.

I know that whoever I get is going in my avatar, but considering how lazy I am, I'll probably pick Martin Clarke if he's available.

I was thinking maybe, the order of the list is the order you get to pick your player in, so Lonie first shellz second and so on. it was just an i dea so if you don;t like it let me no. But i do guess it is unfair on the people that got in late, so i don't expect you to use it
