Who thinks the Pies will win this week by 10 Goals? The Swans are the Magpies bunnies and with the home ground advantage, 70,000 screaming Pie fans, Bucks back and Hall not fit should be a walk in the park!!!

I said this 2 weeks ago when we played the Ducks, we need to kick 6 or 7 goals in the first quater to be any chance. We have to get off to a flyer and stun them.

We don't beat anybody by 10 goals. The way the Swans play a 4 goal win is just as big. It will be close, and I'll be on the edge of my seat in Adelaide with a beer in one hand and the phone in the other ready to call 000 if I have a heart attack!

I don't give a shit how much we win by, as long as we win. I will not accept another exit in week 1 of the finals*. CMON PIES!

Note: By me not accepting it, I have no idea what that means I will do.

If Collingwood Beat Sydney Again, It Won't Be Easy!

i'll take 2 goals
Me too! Sydney are going to be keen to stop the losing streak of three against Collingwood, and they play well in September in the past two years. Collingwood though must feel that they don't receive any respect since the Swans are favourites to win with both bookmakers and tipsters despite beating them recently. That would have to be extra motivation, along with the All-Australian team snub, to beat them again, but I certainly wouldn't expect it to be easy.

Re: If Collingwood Beat Sydney Again, It Won't Be Easy!

I'll be happy if it's similar to 2 weeks ago. In fact I'll be happy if we win by a point!

We haven't beaten anyone by 10 goals all year, although we should have on a few occasions.

Time waits for nobody, they've had theirs, ours is steadily approaching. Sat night will mark a turning point in both team's history. 10 goals would be a worthy result!

Let's hope it goes our way :)

the reason why we play well against the swans is because they play man on man and it's all about contested footy. and also because they don't have any real pace through the middle. last year the dogs cut us up with their run but that won't have much to do with it this year. if the boys come out hard and we kick straight we should get over the line, but not by much.

the pies are so frustrating! last year the loss to the bombers when they were on the bottom cost us a top 4 chance.

this year we haven't smashed anyone on the scoreboard because we can't kick straight and then the loss to the tigers cost us a top 4 spot too. i'd love to be playing the cats at the G in front of 90,000 - if ever they were going to get some stage fright it would be then.

if you win, i'll eat a pie for every goal you win by, and I hate pies :p.

Sydney are finished.

Rocca, Cloke, Dids, Neon, Bucks, Rusling, Thomas, Medhurst will kick 25 goals and sydey will be left in the wake of the start of something special..

We have never in the history of the club had a forward line that consist of 8 players who can kick 4 or more goals in 1 qtr. They will contain 1-2 then 4 will be let off and dominate.. Lets just hope the AFL has not insructed the umpires the stroke their pets into a winning position.

how the hell can you say sydney are the umps pets, when they have the most frees against them in the comp you clacker.

Sydney will show you, just as they did against the Hawks 'potent' young guns, that real men come to play finals.

Just like St Kilda, youve shown promise, but no cigar. So if you win and win well, i will be the first to say 'well done', but i doubt I will need to say those two words this year. so 'good luck' in stead.

you cannot possibly believe something wrong didnt happen when hall got off and amon got 1 week? sure he got 3 it should have been 6. Its unfair on all teams including sydney when they get special favors.

thanks for your good luck we will need it.

get off our bopard im not saying we'll win by twenty goals would be happy if we win by a point but im quietly confident.

So what if you beat st.kilda last year or two years ago we are a differnt side this is a differnt time. WE CAN BEAT YOU and you guys know it now please return to shitting bricks on your board thank you

Collingwood won't beat Sydney and they don't even deserve to win. They have already lost to Western Bulldogs in round 8 by 33 points. They lost to Melbourne by 13 points in round 11. They lost to Brisbane Lions by 93 points in Round 17 and lost to Richmond by 20 points in Round 19.

Western Bulldogs-13th (lost by 33 points Telstra Dome)
Melbourne-14th (lost by 13 points M.C.G)
Brisbane Lions-10th (Lost by 93 points at the M.C.G with 45,000 people.)
Richmond-16th (Lost by 20 points at the M.C.G)

I hope Sydney go all the way and win the flag!!!!!

What does this have to do with anything. Your team are shit and finished last but were that shit they didnt even get the first pick.

Secondly you lost to all these teams as well why are you talking about our losses.

Thirdly we havent lost two gam,es in a row all season,

And finally your season was over last week why the hell are you on our board talking about our right to play finals, just **** off dick head come back in 2011 when your coach believes you'll play finals.

****en moron

Good luck with that! We've been beaten once by 10 goals while Roos has been coach - R14 2004.

Personally, I'll be happy to win by a point - heck, that may even be sweeter.
