In 1999/2000 you could see the future in our players.
On 2004/05 we were clearly tanking for priority picks.
This current team is so much worse. Besides Grundy and Moore we have nothing to look forward to. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.

Really, really disappointed. Beaten in tackles, clearances and contested possessions by a side ranked 16th for Clearance differential before this game, 13th for Contested Possession differential. To smash us in the tackles as well to shows how annihilated we were in the contested ball by a mediocre midfield unit.
Midway through Q3, Essendon had a Forward 50 DE% of 74%, we had 48%. From the same number of Inside 50's, we had 12 goals, we let them have 18. Continuing the trend of being the worst side in the comp in forward efficiency; for and against.
The amount of goals we let them get from turnovers was unacceptable.
Just awful.

The closest our players will get to their opponents is after the siren, to sprint to shake their hands.

The train wreck of season2017 continues, they players have thrown in the towel and I'm about to as well.

He was ok needs to find a bit of urgency and aggression if he wants to step up to afl level.
Only way he improves his game is by playing seniors no good letting him get 35 a week in the vfl under little pressure.
