Three year plan, really. Made finals in 2012 & 2013. I believe we would have made the GF in 2012 if JMac hadn't died. Rebuild started to take effect end of 2013 into last year, onwards and upwards next year going into 2017. Nothing like Richmond.

I hate this as an excuse.
If anything, it should have gelled and buoyed the guys together and get them to play for JMac.

Sorry to bring up an old thread guys! The thing that sucks about having Bontempelli, a big team like Collingwood will probably poach him from us when he reaches his peak in 5 years time! We may well just be keeping him warm for you !!

I thought he was meaning that the Dogs took him before us, when we had our eyes on him.
I could be wrong though.
I'd love to pick him up in a few years, but that's a long time in footy.

I read it as him lamenting the Dogs being a non-destination club. Certainly didn't come off as a gloat over Bont vs Berg to me.

I took it as a reply to someones post earlier on, whinging about us letting it slip we were interested in Bont, but ended up having to pick Shaz.

Always good for the game when the pies are doing well, I'm good mates with Taylor Adams and he's worked his ass off over the pre season compared to recent years! Really matured
