I was wondering whether anyone knew of the following details regarding their supported team:
1. whether jumper numbers for the list had been finalised? If not, when would this announcement be official?
2. what the players' jumper numbers for 2005 will be (if the answer to Q1 is that numbers are finalised)?
3. a web link (or some other reference) to where this information can be found.

Not sure on Hawthorn yet. At the AGM Clarkson stated no new player would have a number below 33 because they had to earn the right to wear a lower number.

Whether that means other players are dropping down or the rookies will be wearing up to 50 (I hope so!) I don't know.

You'd think Thurgood and Osborne may move down.

I understand Bain will wear the number made famous by James Davies. Not announced, but he was wearing it the day of the "3" cricket match against the Aussies. More than likely then, that Jolley will wear #40. But again, not announced.

Didn't Ray Shaw break Collingwood's tradition of the #1, #2 and #3 for the "leadership group". Although the way some clubs go, the DVC's will wear from #3 to #12. Plenty of them!

I believe Buckley was asked to take #1, but wanted to keep #5. I expect this tradition to be resumed, as Eddie seems to want it. My understanding is that pre-50's (or whenever) Collingwood's numbers were allocated alphabetically.
