Your love for Fasolo is getting out of control Dave - tame that love by pulling up some highlights of Dids, Sidey and Blair from last years finals series and you will realise why they will not be dropped.

Fasolo is going to be a great player but I think he is just outside our ideal best 22.

Watched the game on replay now, I didn't realise how well Jolly commanded the round the ground ruck, he totally controlled that stuff after quarter time. Looked strong, good stuff.

definately got on top of nicnat in boundary stoppages as game wore on.

Two words: Leigh Brown. He doesn't do much in the ruck, not much of a forward, slower than an ocean liner, gives away stupid frees. Yet, he always seems to do something, right when you don't expect it and certainly his position in the team is rarely questioned by supporters and commentators alike. Drop Jolly and keep leigh brown in the team??? people make those comments.

Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of anvil. But this year has got to be the last we go with this ruck combo.

I never quite understand breaking down the whole analysis into individuals. We are the best when we are a team and when we play as individuals we tend to look like we're lairising. Having said that, Didak did look slow. The big forwards tried hard but the forward press couldnt be maintained and they lack opportunities. The small forwards couldnt keep the ball in, although the midfielders had a hard time getting first use of the ball. The rucks struggled but they were up against the best in the competition. Hopefully, they can break even in the Prelim and the midfield can get it forward more often. The backline was fantastic and won the game for us.

there was a stat on the tv yesterday, either 1/4 or 1/2 time that said Jolly had 6 hitouts to advantage to NicNats 1 and Jolly had 1 hitout sharked and NicNat had 5 sharked
sometimes its not about the quantity but the quality
thought Jolly was great after 1/4 time

West Coast's strengths are precisely Hawthorns weaknesses, Hawks lack talls, tall backs, tall forwards and tall rucks, Eagles have Glass, Mackenzie , Schofeild, NicNat, Cox, Lynch, Darling and Kennedy, Hawks have Shoenmakers, Gibson, Bailly, Hale and Buddy, who may be injured.

They should struggle to contain Cloke, Dawes and Leroy.

Jolly was getting pantsed early but fought his way back well, especially after quarter time. He out performed both Eagles ruckman at around the ground bounces and throw ins.

MM said on tv tonight that they were very happy with his game.

I'll admit I wasnt at the game but watched very closely on tv and I thought Jolly did very well after getting pantsed up til quarter time. After than I feel like he didnt dominate but did plenty.

How bloody good is niknat though, wins the tap, then clears his own ball from centre square, what a freak!

Dids I liked, I feel like he's working into form and the timing is perfect, He didnt win the game for us but he definitely made an impact especially early, he faded but thats to be expected at this point of his return, I think he will be fine come prelim with the week off under his belt he will be winning his own footy and using it to the level we are accustom to!
