Poor troll, mainly as you say soccer is "real football", but then call it soccer. If you were a "real football" fan, you would call it footie, football, futsal. Not soccer.

You clown.

BTW Sydney would be a better club to go to then Chelsea or AC Milan.
Soccer is the real football and I will call it whatever I like. Fact is you can play it anywhere in the world professionally - Rugby as well and you can play professional League in 4 countries. These codes offer great opportunities to play and be be paid overseas. AFL offers nothing - nothing at all.

As long as you stay the f### out of the way of my big TV when the Hawks are on, you can say what you like...any soccer fan worth his weight in gold handbags and Ronaldo v a g i n a shaped haircuts would do very well to withstand me yelling "Down In Front" while trying not to spill my beer...all hypothetical, because we know they dive for far less than that...

In any case, I couldn't give a flying rat's arse what they think of Australian Rules in f###ing Italy...I'm sure they don't care what we think of Serie Ahhh...

indeed, but of course the best players in the world at AFL play right here...whereas all the best players at soccer play in europe. which will be the case with rugby league in a few years too.

they play all over the world ning nong! Because its sucha big game!

what has this got to do with expansion of Australian Football

Everything .

You see in these other sports loosely collected under the banner of football
you don't have the opportunity to express your emotions like we do do
at a football match like cheering for your team , admonishing the other team
and correcting the often frequent mistakes made the umpires .
So by expressing their negative thoughts here they are starting to feel
the release that they would experience by attending an AFL game .

Go on , do your best . rant , rave abuse .

We'll see you at the game .

:thumbsu: cheers .

Let's see, they can play in England, France

And quotas allow for a maximum of just 36 players !

And then there is also New Zealand ... are they even really considered another country ? I thought they were our 7th and 8th states

Monster choice there. :D

Don't worry, Aussie Rules will go semi-pro in the USA or Canada before long, then you'll have lost your last vestige of gloatability.

elbusto, you're a fool.

Rugby league players can go to England? Wow, thats amazing.

Heres an idea. Why go to England for some extra dosh, when you can stay in Sydney, or Brisbane, and actually be accepted by the people who like your sport.

Do some people actually realize how insignificant the Super League is? It is a blip on the radar in the English sporting landscape.

As for soccer, I love it, and Im shattered that our best leave the shores, but I love the sport, MVFC, and the players coming through. They may go overseas for better money aswell, but ultimately the reasons for their move are TO IMPROVE AS PLAYERS. The NRL is the top rugby league competition - yet players are flocking for money over the actual competition. Pretty pathetic really.

Pathetic sucker as you will forever be disappointed remember this is Australia not europe LOL

BTW as far as the dying thugby goes Brisbane Lions AFL got a bigger crowd than the Broncos 30,000 to 27,000 this weekend and the second game at ANZ Stadium last night also had only 9000 like the friday one .

Then you have the pathetic one town team Storm with a mighty 10,000 at OP last night
RL is really thriving = NOT!

I wasn;t going to respont to what was a pretty ordinary troll, but, I am actually have litle interest in Australian Rules becoming professional or even popular overseas.
It is our own game and its culture is one of the reasons why AFL is easily the most sucessful and popular sporting organisation in Australia.
I'm glad that will never change.
