I know it's supposed to be hard to win away (especially in the playoffs), but:

Bengals
Steelers
Lions
Giants

Interesting that no one has given the Broncos a chance yet. I know it's unlikely, but the steelers will be without Mendenhall, and big Ben's injury will limit his ability to escape the pocket like he does, might not be the foregone conclusion most people seem to think it will be (especially since the Broncos have "God" on their side :p).

Bengals @ Texans
Steelers @ Broncos (Broncos to cover the -9.5)
Lions @ Saints
Falcons @ Giants

Backing my predictions @ 11.50 :D

If GB and SF want to play off in the Super Bowl, they should be allowed to.
Scrap conferences.

Its funny because not all that long ago the AFC dominated while the NFC sucked..Not For Long...the tradition of the superbowl will live forever and it wont change. There will never be a one conference Superbowl ever.Even if the match ups would be better.Thats is why Div playoffs is the best week and Conference championships are a close second the SB is just a novelty unless your teams happens to win of coarse. For fans of other teams they just hope for close games and exciting plays.

AFC Supporters didn't give a **** about that argument when they were winning SBs... cos before that period, the NFC dominated for over a decade, and the Superbowl really should've been the NFC Championship game...

Definately the case there guys (Galactic & Fuey).
SB tradition won't change and why should it?
The Conference Championship games were the ACES back in the day of NFC dominances, now they're just the KINGs. :)

As for this season's Big Dance... I predict a Ravens vs Saints SB.

I've been atrocious with some of my picks but I'm overdue to get something right.

Upset of the Wildcard round: Cincinnati Bengals.
Lock Of the Wildcard Round: New Orleans Saints.
Heart-stopper Best Game of Wildcard round: Falcons @ Giants
Blow-Out of the Wildcard Round: (hoping) Steelers over the Broncos.

Hope to read more posts by the first bunch of posters who make a cameo visit to the NFL boards. C'mon man... any bubblehead can jump on a bandwagon.
 Why show up now? AFL pre-season not exciting enough?

Lets do a proper prediction rather than the shit I put together earlier (which I just deleted)

AFC

Steelers @ Broncos - The Broncos D could restrict Pittsburgh, but Tebow will have to increase his output of going superman by 100% to get them over the line.

Pittsburgh 17 Denver 10

Bengals @ Texans - With the injuries that have decimated Houston this year, and with how shit the Texan secondary is, it'd take Dalton being too sick to play for them to get over the line. But he's only sick enough to miss practise today, and he should be fine by Saturday, time for Green to run wild.

Cincinnati 24 Houston 13

Bengals @ Patriots - The Bengals of 2011 are really reminding me of the 2008 Falcons. An average defence playing out of their skin to assist the rookie QB and his weapons to do enough for a win, and just like the 2008 Falcons, they come across an amazingly efficient and deadly passing attack in the playoffs on the road, and unless Foxborough goes back in time 10 years to the weather of Jan 19, 2002, I can't see Cincinnati slowing down Tom Brady enough to get the win. New England are just too good here.

New England 38 Cincinnati 10

Steelers @ Ravens - We all know how these games turn out, tough close games to the end unless Big Ben has a career bad day. Sure, things seem to be turning in Baltimore's favour in recent times, but the big game calibre of Big Ben, and the nerves of Flacco will give an early edge to Pittsburgh, which I believe they could just hold on long enough for a win.

Pittsburgh 16 Baltimore 10

Steelers @ Patriots - I could go off in any direction here, and be able to justify anything with this matchup. So I'll just leave it with a scoreline and avoid pointless argueing which will lead into trolling.

Pittsburgh 24 New England 21

NFC

Falcons @ Giants - Both teams are so even in all facets of the game, that it's literally a coin flip. IMO Atlanta is slightly better, and suit the cold weather more than New York, BUT, home field advantage can be magical (just ask the Seahawks last year) which might just be all that's needed to get the win. But I am a Falcons fan, so I've gotta go us.

Atlanta 27 New York 24

Lions @ Saints - Suh's in this matchup, and that, along with Fairley will make New Orleans one dimensional (not that they wern't before hand), so the Lions have a slight advantage on a more open offence where they can actually run the damn thing. It'll be enough to keep the game open for both teams. If it was just a Brees vs Stafford shootout, I'd go the Saints just, but the Lions have help in the running game to restrict turnovers and make it 50/50 IMO. But Stafford has been known for his heart and ability to fight through the pain to get the W, and although Brees will play good, Smith and Stafford will keep it close enough for a miracle from Stafford late.

Detroit 48 New Orleans 42 (OT)

Lions @ Packers - Lets be a realist, such a young team can't pull 2 games out of their arses, it's about time they fall apart.

Green Bay 41 Detroit 14

Falcons @ 49ers - The 2 teams in the NFC who are suited for cold weather games. Atlanta has a better offence, San Fran has a better defence, game's in San Fran. It's just too close. I could explain anything here and not look like a fool, so I'll just put the score of what I believe down.

Atlanta 19 San Francisco 12

Atlanta @ Green Bay - Atlanta is better in Run O and D, Green Bay is better in Pass O and D. But Rodgers is just too good this year, feels like Rodgers and Djokovic are the domminant players in world sport in 2011. No one is playing good enough to beat them. The only way to win is via perfection, or them stuffing up. Though, it is about time ROdgers has a bad game ;) Nah, Green bay just too good.

Green Bay 31 Atlanta 28

Superbowl

Green Bay vs Pittsburgh - This is the stage I hate, (well, all these games outside of AFC WC) everyone is just so good that it's too hard to predict. I can't even think of how this matchup will go. One part of me is saying Polomalu will eat Rodgers alive, another is saying Rodgers will jsut destroy the rest of the D, even as Harrison and co dismantle their running game. Then I have wait, Steelers have a poor offensive line, Packers could exploit that, and the opporunistic secondary could force turnovers. That's it

Green Bay 27 Pittsburgh 14

Benegals 21 Houston 16 - A pity Houston was wrecked by injuries this season but this one should go down to the wire. Cincy D should be good enough to stop Houston.

Steelers 13 Broncos 3 - Broncos D will cause Steelers some trouble but there it's really ahrd to find a way the Broncos will score unless it's off the defense.

Saints 41 Lions 28 - Should be a reasonably high scoring game but Detroit's first playoff game as this team, should be too much for them as some of their play sugegst this season.

Falcons 28 Gainst 24 - Home field is the reason here, I would argue that the Giants are a better team overall but Giants are always prone to mistakes as well, should be a close game.

This game is in New Jersey not Atlanta.

HOU v CIN 17-24 Andy Dalton will get it done
DEN v PIT 6-17 Tebow will struggle to score, would love to see otherwise
NO v DET 42-31 Shootout but Lions won't keep up, predicting 3 INTS from Stafford
NYG v ATL 17-21 prefer the Giants but Matt Ryan plays well & I feel Turner will be the key

then...

NE def CIN
BAL def PIT
GB def ATL
NO def SF

NE def BAL
NO def GB

NO def NE
