Mafia 3 is a good game but man is the mission structure repetitive.. it is also fairly long if you wanna play it properly.

the world is massive and beautiful...

a good game if you have a few days to kill and nothing else to play.

Yeah that was one of the main knocks the reviewer had. Also no fast travel options so there's a few missions where you have to drive the length of the map to do something that takes 5 minutes then drive all the way back. Also clearing out the same places multiple times but for different missions.

main missions were good, but all the side missions that you needed to play to unlock the next area/boss/main mission were repetitive. i think there were like 3 types. Music and world were good. Feeding people to crocs was fun.

Keep hearing DBD is what F13 should've been so will be keen to give it a crack. Had considered it before but couldn't really justify the price for something I wouldn't play often.

Mafia looks cool but probably won't have the time to play it considering I haven't even got to Heavy Rain yet. Good to see another free PlayLink game and a VR one too. If Sony want to get the headsets moving, tossing out VR games in PS+ is the way to go.

this didnt bother me mostly. you can do missions in groups so travelling from one end of the map to the other as part of a mission is very rare.

Dead by Daylight is one of the worst games I've ever played.
Have you played the Friday the 13th game? Not being a smart arse, genuinely curious as it's generally pointed to by fans of the F13 game as a better option.

Friday the 13th was fun, but buggy and repetitive. Was only good when you played with friends or if you were in cahoots with Jason (telling him where people are etc.). I used to run off with the car battery and annoy the other Councillors. I rather enjoyed it though, so will give DBD a go!

Mafia 3 probably not a bad game for free. Probably didn't quite deliver on my expectations from the hype but it's still not too bad. Would be a pretty hefty download file size I reckon.

How much does Destiny actually cost to get to the current content though?

Depending on how you purchase it, a lot. This is the trojan horse to get you to buy that DLC (in their minds anyway).

The cheapest way to get all of the DLC is via a retail copy called something along the lines of Destiny 2 Forsaken Collection or something which will house the next expansion ($59.99) + the year 1 DLCs ($50) for about $80.

I'm in no way trying to sell anyone on the game, more warning anyone that does find themselves enjoying the base game that they should not by the DLC separate as it would end up costing them a lot more in the long run.

EDIT: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/playstation-4/destiny-2-forsaken-legendary-collection/303641/

That's the version with all DLC. The same version on PSN is $100+ I think.

I've never played Destiny. I want something to mess around with until Spiderman releases. Will this be worth the hours I will spend downloading this game?
