Can anyone pls help with how some of the SA kids at the Champs Gibbs, Hurley, Schmidt, Sellars, Jacobs, Lindsay Thomas, C.Buckley are going?

Thx I really rated this kid at champs albeit he did not dominate. Long stride and beautiful kick.

reminds of a very young Buckley from the same state!

 

[Bayslions]

Gibbs- A great player- midfielder, kicks goals. Will probally slip straight into a bottom AFL side within a couple of rounds.
Seller- Tall forward, has been used as a ruck but still needs a little development. Since the U18 championship has not been able to crack back into the senior side.

Both play for local SANFL team Glenelg Tigers

Sam Jacobs has done very well since the carnival. Has played every league game for the Eagles since as 2nd ruck to Lindsay. Has gone forward a couple of times and kicked a few goals from one on one marks in the goal square or quick snaps close to goal. He was a key player in the win over Centrals a month ago when he went into ruck in the 3rd quarter. Good decision making and good skills with hand and by foot. Will definitely go in the draft to a club looking for a Sandilands type ruckman.

hurley is a gun played the last 10 or so games in the 1s doing very well

Lindsey Thomas has been steady for the Magpies. Was dominating in the reserves up until the Championships. Has played 4 league games this year including the last 3. Had 16 disposals, 5 marks and 2 goals on the weekend to play his best game of the season at League level.

Mainly on a wing this year.
