Going to be using Fennekin. I'd be very surprised if it's evolutions turn out to be Fire/Fighting yet again. Gameplay looks excellent.

Is it worth the $120 difference between the standard and Xl versions?
Not sure it's worth it. The XL's have a bigger screen, but on the inside everything else is the same.

For what its worth, my opinion of course so probably not much, the black boarder around the original 3ds gives it a better theatrical appearance much more immersive, the down side however the button click and the XL fits better better in your hands, the hinges also have less problems (they use to get quite loose).

I've got the original 3DS and am contemplating upgrading to the XL. Will probably wait until I *need* to, (read: when X/Y comes outs) and just hope that the cost of the XL decreases more than the value lost on the original 3DS.
seriously i got goosebumps when the 3ds sound was made and then i saw a 3d game. cant wait for this.
