kangle4 what the hell are you feeding the Ditto in your Safari? I've just gone through 21 Ultra Balls, 6 Great Balls and 6 Timer Balls trying to catch a Ditto with 1HP left.
If memory serves, the catch rate is based off the pokemon that ditto transforms into, not 100% sure but I think that's right.

Yes that's why you have them transform into something like Magikarp.

Also my 2DS is now on for anyone who wants Ditto's, I'll leave it on for a little while.

Whats your thoughts now? I.e have you listened to my suggestions :p
Here's what I'm thinking of going with:
1. No Ubers, non-Uber legends are allowed and no Megas. I understand the arguments for allowing Mega Pokemon, but my concern is simple: in a random number generated team, somebody who draws, say, a Heracross or an Ampharos is already at an advantage as they've drawn a 'final form'. Megas give these people even more of an advantage. Megas will be allowed if we do another tournament, but for a RNG game I think it works best without them.

Additionally, both the quarter- and semi-finals will be best-of-three. The grand final will be best of five again.

Finally, only six Pokemon will be drawn per person.

2. Pools will be used. Top two from each pool will move onto the quarter finals.

3. Only one of each Pokemon will be allowed across every participant - ie., no two participants can have the same Pokemon. In addition to this, only one Pokemon from an evolutionary line is allowed - for example, if somebody draws an Ivysaur, nobody can draw a Bulbasaur, Ivysaur or Venusaur.

4. Each person will have one 'wildcard', allowing them to fully evolve one of their Pokemon.

Unless there's a huge uproar it's unlikely any of these will change, but if anybody is totally against one aspect of it let me know. I can't please everybody but at the same time I've gotta make it as enjoyable as I can.

I'm fine with most of that, except the 6 draws, I would prefer 8 to hopefully get more synergetic teams

I'm only going to allow just over a week for training so we can get this started as soon as possible, hence why I decided to go for 6 only. If others want more though I can change that.
