Is Erin Phillips doing anything with Port's AFLW team this season??

She's got her radio gig, Channel 7 footy gig, coaching the U/8's SMOSH girls team, and doing something with the AFL in the AFL's Football Operations department in a part-time role under footy ops Executive GM Laura Kane, but I didn't find any role at Port.

Jessica Bates seems like a no-brainer.

But looking at defenders that played in the SA vs WA state match just recently, the best option to replace Hannah Dunn in my eyes is South Adelaide’s Tiffany King.

She has 50 SANFLW games worth of experience, she played in their 2019 SANFLW premiership, has been in their leadership group since 2020, she stands at 179cm and has already attracted the interest of Carlton’s AFLW team.

Syme on Port’s AFLW return: “We’ve had a massive offseason”

Port Adelaide midfielder Sachi Syme spoke to the media on the first day of pre-season training.

Sachi Syme is right, going off all their social media posts, all the girls looked like they were training really hard and putting in a lot of extra hard yards during their off-season.

I wouldn’t know how hard all the other AFLW teams trained during their off-seasons but I loved what I was seeing from our girls.

Looking across the the clubs socials yesterday I couldn't spot Ewings anywhere. Can't help but feel concerned.

I shouldn't single out one person but I will. Lets hope Hannah Ewings has worked hard in the off season. I was expecting her to take her game to the next level in year 2 but she went backwards.
