Theres one for everyone else so why not for the great old maggies.

Should be an interesting year this year. Could go either way. Some of the back to back U19s guys should start to filter through to regular league action this year and hopefully that will create some much needed depth.

Im expecting a finish anywhere from 4-7 depending on injuries and how we perform during the year.

Yeah Clayts will be going for his 4th straight BnF in 2008. We also retained Perry and Perkins from last year, as well as hopefully getting Elstone fit and firing this year. We picked up Josh thurgood from the Hawks, Luke Saunders from teh country and Vinne rugulo from WWT amongst some others.

This is the bottom line - injuries. You get the feeling that 7(possibly 8) clubs are a decent chance at the five this year.

Have heard that Eichner is looking to be in awesome shape and raring to go. He has been a big loss over the past few seasons.

Hopefully the inclusion of Choppy's experience and the youngsters coming thru the best SANFL junior program, will make us at least competitive and hopefully make the finals this year.

I still reckon we're a fair way off the top few sides though. Not having Maric this year will hurt a bit too.

The following ins and outs have been reported here. I reckon Matt Lobbe would be counted as an "in" as well - he'll spend the year in the SANFL.

INS

Byron Pickett (Melbourne)
Dane Fitzgerald
Matt King
Josh Thurgood (Hawthorn)
Tim Looby (ex Power rookie)
Matt Kerley (Pt Pirie/Darwin)
Carmelo Lando
Luke Saunders (Gisborne)
Vincenzo Rugolo (WWT)

OUTS

Brent LeCras (returned to Perth)
Brad Ebert (West Coast)
Levi Greenwood (Kangaroos)
Julian Wait (retired)
Jared Poulton (CMS Crows)
Cameron Miller (Subiaco)
Luke Duncan (country)

If Choco gets his way, they'll prefer to be called Thirteenthmond (yes I pinched that from a tiges supporter :D).

Anyway on topic the following ins and outs have been reported here.

We really should list Eichner as an "In' Fjord. :thumbsu:

You must have me confused with my Swedish cousin Fjord Fairlanesen. But yes, Eichner would qualify as an In by now. I still remember Timmy describing his snapped ACL as "looking like two mop ends" ...

It would be good to see the boys have a great start to the season.

With Choppy and Thurgood it will add a bit more in the centre. And if Waterhouse can stay fit, he will be a great inclusion in the forward line, after all he averaged 4 goals a game last year for his 8 games, so if he can do that for the season it would be good.

Any chance of getting Scotty out of retirement to kick 100+ goals aswell. lol. We may need it.
