Victims not acting how you think they should doesn't make them liars. When she runs to the media instead of the police, makes it a bit obvious what her intentions are.
What a bunch of crap. There’s a reason we have due process and innocent until proven guilty as pillars of our legal system. Imagine if these claims turn out to be completely made up and it’s just a woman scorned trying to seek revenge. Completely smears the reputation of a young man for the rest of his life.
The facts will come out like they always do.
Yeah how dare we be in favour of following due process when a crime is committed. Some Port postere on the defensive early and already showing their true colors.
Really makes you think about how many *******s flock to these forums.

You know 99% of the time inappropriate touching and grouping in nightclubs goes unreported because victims feel the reporting process is too difficult or that what happened didn't constitute a crime because they were at a nightclub.
It appears she went to the club first and it may not have even occurred to her to go to the police.
There's also no evidence she has asked for any money and considering payment in cases like this usually entail the victims silence she likely hasn't.
I just don't like people immediately discrediting when they don't do things the way you want them too.
I didn’t say she’s a liar, I just said it’s obvious what her intentions are. These allegations could very well be true. But there’s a very, very good reason we consider people innocent until proven guilty.Victims not acting how you think they should doesn't make them liars.
Tell us how many? How many of Ports Indigenous players have ran in to trouble in recent years? Just as well that government funded Indigenous program is there...
Channel seven literally reported Ryder as being arrested for assaulting police which never happened. Channel 7 adelaide have a pretty poor recordWhat a bunch of crap.
"Woman scorned seeking revenge", of course that's more likely than Pervy Powel Pepperman being a dirty campaigner.
Innocent until proven guilty is a load of crap, how is one supposed to prove this allegation? It's virtually impossible.
Good on this fine young lady dragging this rotten pig's name through the dirt.
We know as FACT that channel 7 wouldn't have aired this if it was false.
Mate, you don't get to preach 'due process' while completely dismissing the victim as a money grabber.I didn’t say she’s a liar, I just said it’s obvious what her intentions are. These allegations could very well be true. But there’s a very, very good reason we consider people innocent until proven guilty.
No, you just put quotation marks around the word 'victim' and question her motives.I personally didn't say she asked for money or her motivation was financial gain. What's troubling is the accused is now covered in mud before any investigation has taken place. He'll be tried in the media.
Shit ones tooChargers are cars...
No, you just put quotation marks around the word 'victim' and question her motives.
I don't disagree with you about the media by the way. But your issue is just that, with the media. So don't direct it at the victim.
Huh? I haven’t dismissed her claims at all. “These allegations could very well be true” I was talking about how the media should have zero role to play here because they are only going to do more harm than good. Trial by media never ends welMate, you don't get to preach 'due process' while completely dismissing the victim as a money grabber.
Due process involves not assuming SPP's guilt, it also involves taking the victims claims seriously.
Your strict adherence to SPP's assumed innocence while completely dismissing the victim is telling.
I tend to agree that the media overplay stuff at times and in this instance I didnt expect to hear the players name , nor an interview. There could have been a bog standard ' Channel 7 News understands a Port player is under investigation' etcHuh? I haven’t dismissed her claims at all. “These allegations could very well be true” I was talking about how the media should have zero role to play here because they are only going to do more harm than good. Trial by media never ends wel
Pretty sure it completely rules out any legal action happening. Would be hard to get a fair trial with his name smeared everywhere.I tend to agree that the media overplay stuff at times and in this instance I didnt expect to hear the players name , nor an interview. There could have been a bog standard ' Channel 7 News understands a Port player is under investigation' etc
Then again there are many many stories that disappear
