With many leagues pushing back their starting date, and some leagues in real strife of even getting started. 2007 is a great opportunity to shoot off for a season to a new club, experience something different...outside Victoria.

Paul Cox, the new coach at Port Douglas is looking for expressions of interest in making a move up north for the up coming footy season. He tells me there are plenty of jobs in all building trades and hospitality. In which the Port Douglas football club would help arrange work (and i assume accommodation) for those interested in playing up there.
In particular, he was targeting interest from players currently playing in the GVFL, Ovens and Murray, Bendigo and Ballarat leagues. But any expression of interest will be taken.

Port Douglas is a highly popular tourist location, and thus has an exciting lifestyle all year round. A great opportunity to play footy, earn some $$ and have a great time.

I've been up there for a holiday, and it is a fantastic place, it'd be brilliant during the winter months (for us Victorians). Their cooler weather, averaging 25 during the winter, is just perfect.

For those interested, give Paul a call on 0400165192.
