He played 19 games, but there were a lot of injuries/suspensions in our backline which lined up pretty well so his spot was always reasonably safe. Most of our board had soured on him after about round 3.
We went 7-12 with him playing and 4-0 (including our only 3 wins against top 8 teams) when he wasn't playing.

Remember Saints fans saying he was a Ross favourite a couple of months ago, Ross saying on radio they could get a good number of years out of him etc. 8 weeks later Ross gets serious and lops him.

He just never really excelled at anything as a defender besides unopposed field kicks to transition the ball out of defence. Looked a fair player given enough time and space, but he always needed a paddock to work well, and was so outside running it limits him.

He is one of those guys with a beautiful, stylish, raking left foot kick. Unfortunately he seems to kick it to the wrong team a lot.
