Not that I wish injuries upon anybody, but it would give us a massive boost if he were subbed off, not just because of his caliber, but because each opposition player having to run that little bit more and wear them out a little quicker. Which is especially advantageous for us considering how we can't run out games well.

Good quarter. Probably allowed a bit of space from Hawks players but we'll take it. Good to see us go long and direct, actually tackling and trying to find space. Teammates running for each other we've barely seen all year

11 to 9 tackles that quarter in our favour. I would be interested to know how many quarters we've out-tackled our opponents. All I can think of is maybe the Carlton game.

Boak, Pearce and Hoff look like different players out there today. Blee I think has done pretty well.

Just need Lobbe to get his hands somewhere near it in the middle as that will be where Hawthorn could go bang quickly if that continues

How we hold against the coming onslaught will be telling. I'd imagine Clarko's forehead vein is pulsing furiously as we speak.

Great first 20 minutes and reasonable defence in the last ten to keep them from scoring a lot.

The key now is to maintain structure and run going forward. We have to avoid kicking to their spare man. Equally, we have to maintain lots of pressure on them running the ball out.

I've liked the works of the rucks, Pearce, Logan and the half forwards. Need to be a bit cleaner below our knees, but a massive improvement from previous weeks.
