Should be a good game, is important that the whole list is playing into september incase of injuries, and may be a slight advantage to us that Geelong, Collingwood and Sandringham look like missing out on the finals.

Isn't this supposed to be the Qualifying Final? I was under the impression that finals in the VFL started one week before the AFL finals begin.

It's changed so now they at least this year, they match up. The Grand Final for the VFL is Fri 25th Sept at Etihad Stadium.

VFL is still a final 8 so Geelong and Collingwood will make the finals, probably in 7th and 8th, so they might still go out in the first round of finals.

Top game so far. Willi up by a goal at half time.

Addison has been quite solid. Great defensive game, brilliant pressure. Hasn't seen a lot of the ball, but he doesn't need to if he stops his opponent.

Wood likes to take them on, but needs to learn when it's a good opportunity to run and carry and when to give it off. He got caught out holding the ball a couple of times, but I'll forgive him for that.

Callan has been solid when in the action. Has thrown his body on the line a couple of times, but he still doesn't look as good as he was last year. Hopefully he only needs a good pre-season to get back to his 2008 form.

Tiller's disposal has been decent coming out of defence. Copped a mouthfull of blood, but he's been doing his job.

O'Keefe has been a little disappointing I thought. Definitely not one of his best games.

Skipper: see above

Stack: Not bad. Kicked a nice goal on the run.

Lynch: Fair to say he struggles.

Roughead: He'll be something special.

Boumann: Not sure about him.

I think both have played similiar games in that they have both been good defensively, but haven't seen much of the ball. Boumann is certainly an improving player.

Lynch: Fair to say he struggles.

I think his defensive pressure has been good and he has been creative & clean with the ball. His best game at this level for quite a while.

Totally agree on the Lynch call, was going to reply saying the same thing. His defensive pressure has been great and he has show a few flashes of brilliance. So clean with the ball. He just needs to get his hands on the pill a bit more.
