Possible Nominated Rookie selections?

Given we've been given a small glimpse on Friday night against the Roos of what our rookies are capable of, who is most likely to be given the nominated status and who are you hoping gets it?

Garlett is an obvious choice to me, totally dominated in the limited game time he got, and is such a raw talent. He's just as exciting as what Betts was when he first arrived at the club and burst onto the scene. The only problem is i'm just not sure we can fit Betts, Yarran, and Garlett in the team at once. He's capable of midfield stints, evidenced in the Roos match, but i have doubts of him being able to hold his spot with such tight competition for spots. But even if he's played off the bench as an impact player he'd be quite handy.

The Sauce :)D) is another i am hoping is given the opportunity as he was very impressive for just his first senior outing up against a seasoned ruckman in McIntosh. He's had 2 or so years of experience at VFL level and believe he has shown the skills to be able to step up to senior level and provide relief to Cloke in Warnock's absence. This will also allow Kreuz to have more time up forward, which is where i can see him being more potent. :thumbsu:

1st Choice Garlett, 2nd Choice Sauce

Garlett needs a nickname.
I'm just thinking Garth.

They wont nominate the rookies until they decide to play them.

If we have injuries with our ruckmen and we need to play Sauce then Sauce will be 1.

It will all depend on if there is a need due to injury or whichever rookie lays claims to a senior spot

I was under the impression Michelle and Garlett are our nominated rookies. Being nominated, we dont have to have an long term injury to play these guys.

If we have a LTI, then we can nominate another rookie to fill the void until the player is off the LTI list.

Garlett would be my first choice, given what he showed us on Friday night. The other nominated rookie could be anyone, and may depend on team balance and what we are looking for at that time. I was, however, very pleased with how Jacobs played on Friday night, especially given he was matched up against McIntosh.

Pfeiffer was promised the gig when he was delisted so he will be one. 2nd will be between Jacobs or Gartlett. Think they'll go Jacobs with Warnock out. Gartlett might be given time to develop both physically and playing-wise and could well be promoted during or at the end of the year

Pfeiffer was pretty much guaranteed a rookie spot from what Liam Pickering was saying, although after seeing Joseph get into Harvey as a tagger on Friday night, it's kind of swaying my thought process on this one..
