Hello Bay,

With the recent release of Champion Data's best players under 22, I thought it might be time to take a moment and reflect on the bright, bright future of a few clubs.

Just looking here we can see that languishing at the bottom of the ladder works out in some cases (lol Norf) and not in others (lol Dingley).

So if you have 3 or more players from your club on this list (and no, D'Ambrosio doesn't count for the Bombres) feel free to wax lyrically about your club's bright, bright future.

I'll start.

Max Holmes, oh Max Holmes. A long distance runner selected at pick 20 in the draft after Geelong traded their future first (pick 17, 2021) to Richmond.

Elite aerobic capacity, pace to burn, a can do attitude and a booming kick to send the ball deep inside the 50 or right up the goal umpire's cloaca.

Ollie Dempsey - BASKETBALL BACKGROUND. That is all.

Tanner Bruhn - after such an exciting draft night, it was only a matter of time before Tanner found his way home for a lazy Pick 18 (thanks Giants)

He's had to wait his turn a little bit while champions of the game have finished their careers on a high (not that sort of high, Dusty), he's earned his stripes as a tough extractor holding up Geelong's midfield in Dangerfield's absence.

Teaming up with Jhye Clark, Sam DeKoning, Toby Conway, Jack Bowes (unlucky not to make the top 20) and Max Holmes, Tanner will be shitting down the throat of opposition midfields for years to come 🥰

The future looks bright down at The Cattery and good to see the future looking bright for our friends at Arden St too (thanks for Cam Mooney)

Hey Zackah, how come Essedon only have one elite youf under 22 years of age when you've been garbage for 20 years and had first dibs on top ten draft picks year after year?
