Is there no "franchise" mode of any kind? Only single season? That would be a disappointment if so.. What about a draft? Trading? Free agents?

Looking forward to trying the game tonight. I'm big on ball flight and realism, so hopefully this stacks up okay.

I put it on rookie, and am just throwing in cheeky little snaps and shit.

Minor issues so far:

- It might just be a one-off, but when I kicked the ball on the full near the left pocket, they kicked it across ground and it went on the full, but it was called a throw in.

- Ben Hudson if left footed, but says he is right footed. The on the full I mentioned in my first point was because I automatically adjusted for him to be left footed, haha.

Nice running goal from half back from the Sherminator. Bob Murphy with a bag of 8.

Played 1.5 matches and quit out. Now having a play around in "TRAINING"
I kicked the first goal in my first match. Then Nth kicked 9.. I finished with 1.3
2nd round vs port, they started with 0.6 and I couldn't get near it.

CANT WAIT til I get the hang of it.
Getting smashed on the 2nd difficulty.

Most annoying thing so far. Crowd noise in the menu screen. STFU. I'm eating breakfast and posting on bigfooty and it's grating. :p
I MUCH prefer team selection to be laid out ground style. A bit like the pre game screen but with everyone else listed underneath who isn't playing would have been better.
 
OK What is the best camera angle guys? I can't seem to find one i truly love. The problem with side-to-side is you can't see any leads you have upfield without looking at that bloody map and if you go end-to-end the screen rotates like a bloody helicopter all the time.

I love using the side camera close view (may not be the actual name). The behind player camera view would be great, if it faced one direction the entire time. As it stands now, when the opposition gets the ball the camera turns around to face their end. With the constant change of possessions and general fast pace, as soon as I get the ball from the opposition they've already tackled me into the ground because I was trying to find my bearings due to the swinging camera.

Seems like people are struggling to play, but I picked it up pretty quick and lost my first game 44 - 60.

Big Ant have done a wonderful job, hopefully any bugs that have been found can be fixed in the next few weeks.

It's very FIFA like game play and graphics.

Great start to hopefully a long lasting franchise!

Great game.

Little disappointed that I couldn't do an AFL Premiership season with my edited Carlton team though. Beefed up the stats of players like Watson, Curnow, Robinson and a few other underrated players, but then in AFL Premiership mode it was the default Carlton team.

Had to create a custom tournament to use my custom team, but it didn't have an option to use the 2011 AFL fixture, so instead I'm playing a double round robin tournament.

Not a huge deal, but I was disappointed.

GREAT game though. Can't wait for online later tonight.

Online has a few little quirks to it atm.

One thing I'm noticing is that the umpires whistle often doesn't blow during marks/ball ups/free kicks but will at other times.

Also I don't really like not being able to see the other players username, it was a bit awkward having a friend invite match as you don't know if it's the person you wanted is in playing against you.

Would also help to find out quitters as I am not 100% sure that the usernames are showing up in the players met section (haven't checked apart from my 1st match however).
 
First impressions I love it. Played my first game with a mate at my house and loved it. A question - how do you choose a replay? I'd really love to see the player models up close. Also Shae McNamara rated higher than Beamsy lulz :D:thumbsu:
