Chris Naish, when playing for Richmond against Geelong (circa 96/97) missed a set shot from 40 metres out directly in front .. Cats won by three points.

Murray Wrenstead was the player and it was a final against Melbourne, in the 1988 Elimination final.

Wrenstead moved to Collingwood the next year and became a failure at the club.
