First draft and will probably change my mind 30 times in the next week. Trying to back my instinct as to breakout years to ensure I donn't have to make too many trades of mid-range players. Pfieffer down back is a bit of a worry as well... Thoughts?
I liked lfctorres9's team so i pretty much based mine around that, with a few changes.
thoughts? any changes?
How does this look guys?
I am abit iffy on Thompson and Gram. I cant see who to get rid of so i can upgrade them???
Or is Thompson and Gram fine?

Would love to hear people's constructive thoughts. Overall strategy is to lock in some cash cows at the back, bit of a mix in the middle, and look to upgrade some of the forwards at a later date.
Cheers in advance.
Gram for Birchall or Guerra
Thompson for Vince or Hawkins.
I've taken a different approach this year, and gone for "development" players, with a lot left over in the salary cap for later on in the season. I think this squad is pretty handy, given the amount of money that I have left, and the rises in prices that my players will recieve.
Backs:
Jesse Smith- Roos
Max Rooke- Geelong
Shannon Hurn- Eagles
Ryder- Bombers
Gibson- Roos
Nikoski- Eagles
Ed Lower- Roos
bench:
Jay Neagle- Bombers
Scott Thompson- Roos
Midfielders:
Braun- Eagles
Griffen- Dogs
Stevens- Carlton
Judd
Dal Santo
Goodes
bench:
Palmer
Coughlan
Rucks:
Wood
Leunberger
Renouf
Hampson
Forwards:
Bradshaw- Lions
Thompson- Roos
Fevola- Blues
Williams- Hawks
Brown- Brisbane
Roughhead- Hawks
Ebert- Port
Rioli
Tippett
I know my backline is pretty bad (actually very bad) but I think this team is ok, from a purely "winning the league" perspective, given that I have $941000 left in my salary cap, and that i've chosen players who are definately going to rise in price.
Probably the worst DT backline I have -ever- seen.
Quote of the year.Yep- but the thing is that players like Rooke, Hurn, Lower and Gibson will all increase in price, guys like Cornes will decrease and I'll have over $100000 to splash on them. I don't care about winning the Aurion, I want to win my league.

done a few upgrades with the team..just want your thoughts on these options
option 1. leave team as it is with $128k
option 2. downgrade salopek for either ling/t.johnstone/pearce or anything under 348k and upgrade bartram to n.stevens leaving no cash in bank
how are judd, goodes, dal santo, stevens, braun, brown and fev development" players??
IMO I'd upgrade Coughlan to Stevens and Salopek to Hayes. Instead of 1 downgrade and 1 upgrade its 2 upgrades for the same price.
