Good defense but don't want Lower? Mzungu has injured his knee wont be back till mid year. Callinan is also injured tore his bicep off the bone. Rest looks fine.

Strong team, I like it. Although you have no M/F link in the mifield at this stage.

If you were to go for a cheaper option than Chapman in the FWDs, you could upgrade Kennedy to a certain keeper in the mids, giving you 15 certain 'keepers'.

I have gone a different way this year. I'm not going to start out with Goddard. I'm going to upgrade to Goddard in about round 5. I also have plans which I won't discuss here. You will look at one area in my team and think WTF is this guy doing? I have plans, and if you knew them you would understand why this team is a bit obscure.

I think I see what your doing. My only thing would be, if your going for overall, why not start with Stanton over Ablett. Ablett has 2 byes before Stanton, so you can trade Ablett in in round 10 for Stanton. Should only be one trade and I reckon could net you 100 plus points by the end of the season.

Extremely forward heavy if you ask me. Having Grimes, Otten, Hibberd and Duigan on the field is a risky venture in my book. Perhaps a little bit more money could be invested back there. I like the choice of Palmer. No Swan is almost unheard of these days. And I don't think Derick X will get a game.
That aside, pretty solid team.

Yeah try that.

After initially removing Chappie, and with $33K leftover, you should look at maybe moving Krakouer to the midfield (bye bye Atley perhaps) to create your M/F link. And then with your leftover cash see who you can buy in the forward line. You might have enough money to switch Michie to Prestia, and still have enough $$ for a bloke like Johnson, Sylvia, Harvey, Gia etc.

Rookies look okay to me. Cox and Mumford isn't a common combo because they share a bye (R5). Same deal with your forwards having three Gee/Fre players (R6). If you can live with that, I think you've picked some interesting players.

number 1 - this is the dt forum
backs - I would get rid of gilbee, shaw, harbrow and gwilt. Trade in Gibbs and Deledio. You should also look at Lower (Fremantle) and Duigan (Carlton).
midfield - Get Boyd instead of Cross. Get rid of Didak injury interrupted preseason probably wont score well the first month of the season. Scully is also a poor choice. What about Bewick (Brisbane) or Hibberd (Essendon)?
rucks - who is Gorringe? Don't think Lycett will play this year so ruck backup looks weak.
forward - not bad but I would probably trade out Broome. Also in round 5 Melbourne, Sydney and West Coast all have the bye meaning Goodes, ROK, Sylvia, Darling and Broome all wont play.

If league is all you're concentrating on, then perhaps consider Goodes for SJ to cover the possibility that you'll have to back-up in second week of finals (you already have another Geelong premium in Bartel to worry about).

I see no glaring issues. Perhaps adjust your ruck bench. I don't foresee Lycett getting games with Cox, Naitanui and dare I say it *cough* lynch *cough* ahead of him. Also the word is Smith from gold coast is in line before Gorringe.

I understand the risk with Selwood and Shuey but both of them have massive potential trying not to be biased but Selwood was scoring 120's at the end of last year and his been great pre season Shuey has been outstanding aswell.

Im still worried about my choice with Bruce and Gibbs I dont know who to get insted of them
