At a certain point you have to trust your players to do as they're told. The resort is empty, it makes sense to put them up there where they have plenty of room to keep in shape over their quarantine stay and not just keep them locked inside their own homes for 2 weeks (where some players live with multiple people and wouldn't be able to follow the pairing rules).

It's not their choice, but if they've been told to train in pairs then it's their responsibility to train in pairs. An assistant coach is there because they've also travelled in from interstate (I imagine Ben Hart since his family are still in Melbourne).

Picture this is just a minor slap on the risk and a promise that it won't happen again.
