5. Spida (never dreamed I'd give him so many votes this year.)
4. Mal (if we trade him I burn my beanie!!!)
3. Goodes
2. Jude (almost didn't squeeze him in but he quietly had his best game of the year for us on Sun :thumbsu:)
1. Schneider

Mentions: Macca, Mathews, Fosdike, ROK

edited...I forgot Kirky!!! Oh well. I'll leave him as a mention. But I'll put some bold type and underline it.

5 - Kirk (Do i need to say more???)
4 - Malceski (Showed hes not a sidekick to tadgh with him playing poorly)
3 - Spida (Woulda got BOG if he was actually playing on a ruckman rather than a CHB and FF)
2 - Jude Bolts (One of his best for the year)
1 - Goodes (Getting back to better form)

Mention to schneids who has played 2 of his best games at the club since being dropped, hopefully bucky can do the same

5. Malceski
4. Spida
3. Captain Kirk
2. Schneiderman (Hope Buchanon can come back with the same intensity)
1. Jude (much more at home in the middle)

HM: Goodes (I probably expect too much)
Fosdike (Has been consistent even though his hair is getting ridiculous)
Mathews (has been quietly getting the job done this year as well)
Luv Humph.

5. Spida (Awesome and the way the crowd got behind him when he crossed the interchange line. WOW)
4. Schneider (Easily the best he has played in a long while)
3. Malceski
2. Fosdike
1. Bolton - J (but C was excellent today too)

Gotta say I was impressed with Mcveigh as well I know he missed a sitter but he played better than last week and seems to be coming back into some form.

Too many others to mention but a general congrats to the forward line ROK, Hall and Davis did their jobs.

Interestig to note that the team as a whole were bringing hall into the game not so much him going after it but awesome

5 spida
4 kirk
3 malceski
2 schneider
1 mcveigh

it was pretty hard splitting the votes this week, there wasn't a massive difference between 5 votes and 2. not sure why i chose mcveigh for 1 vote over fossie, i guess i felt his possessions were a bit more telling. good to see some 2006 form from him though, i'm hoping there's more to come!

5. Kirky
4. Spider
3. Malceski
2. Goodsey
1. Jude

Tough picks though, especially since I didn't see the replay and can't remember too much of the game :p

Everyone played great though. This was one of our best team performaces all year. Can't think of anyone who played bad. Hell, even Bevo had a great game.

4.5 the 'Eski
4.5 Spida

Impossible to split

3 Kirky
2 Schneiderman
1 O'Keefe

Honourable mentions to Leapin' Leo (very cred job on Fevola), Fossie, Jude, Goodes, Jolly. But even the rest were pretty damn good - notwithstanding the lack of pressure from Carlton after quarter time.

5. Everitt (4 goals, destroyed a depleted ruck division)
4. Mathews (24 pos, dominated opponent)
3. Kirk (Solid as always)
2. Goodes (Continues to appreciate in form)
1. Malceski (Brilliant all season looking towards AA)

Very surprised to see Benny only in my votes. Bias aside, he was very good anyway.

He did have a good game - and not just by his standards. But so did about a dozen Swans players. And while we're all entitled to our own opinions on which contributions were more valuable, surely you can acknowledge that others might place more value on someone getting 28 possessions, scoring 2 goals and creating at least half a dozen more scoring opportunities. Or someone who kept his slightly older opponent to an almost identical stats count while himself winning (to 3/4 time) 10 contested possessions, 6 centre clearances, scoring two goals and setting up at least two more.

(Just to provide two examples.)

Yeah I dont mind others having their own opinions, I personally was just acknowledging a very good game and just thought I'd state I was surprised that I was the only one who thought that. Thats all.
