Gee he cuts an imposing figure. If only his attitude could match his physique we would have quite a player.

Are you there Harks?

No not there cookie.

I don't think there's much wrong with Levi's attitude at all.
Kid is always putting in hard and not like one of his ex team-mates, who also played forward.

Performance = skills x motivation x physical capability (endurance/durability) x decision making. Some rare players like Judd excel in all areas.

Levi's marking and pack smashing efforts are pretty good, and I think his kicking technique improved last year. If his kicking skills keep improving along with his decision making he will be a beast of of a forward for us.

Soundtrack could be straight out of Gladiator.

Juddy could be the Russell Crowe character with Malthouse the Emperor giving the thumbs up or thumbs down !!!!
Fun fact: thumbs down actually meant that the gladiator was allowed to live.

Judd's pre-season form 'like a 20-year-old'

A REJUVENATED Chris Judd has returned to Carlton after an extended break with director of training and development Rob Wiley comparing the veteran's pre-season form to that of a 20-year-old.

The Blues allowed Judd to take a longer break over the Christmas period with the 31-year-old traveling overseas with his young family.

There's a lot of game management happening as I've been told.
How to halt play....defence of the counter attack....when and how to hit on the counter.
These are things we've started off from pretty much day one and it has been a lot more than for just fitness alone.

It's really going to sort the men out from the boys and which is why I think that there may be some surprises come round 1.
Anyone that may not 'get it' could be in a bit of trouble.
That worries me because in many games in the past two seasons the players genuinely looked like they didn't have any idea about executing what Mick wanted.

Heard there were a few clueless players too early last season. Hopefully by now they're gone or have smartened up a bit.
