Pre-Season Draft

if sibosado goes that will be the biggest mistake in the history of the draft i have no idea what people see in him. NT guys get the best exposure and their team wouldn't beat a TAC cup team. you would have to star if your gonna picked up from NT and deserve it

i think its looking very likely and to be honest is a great story. Pies looked closely at him when he was delisted. Been at Bendigo 2 yrs now.

Surely Shane Woewodin is nominating again this year isnt he.
Dang Would love someone I am Distant Relation too Play for the Club I barrack for

Reckon Skipworth is a good chance to be given another crack by Essendon.

Has played a major role in mentoring some of our younger players and has done everything he possibly has to convince the club to pick him up.

He has two weeks of pre-season training and I reckon it's his spot to lose, not show 100% dedication or seriously injure himself in those two weeks and his last chance at crack at the AFL will be gone.

Happy to be corrected, but I'm pretty sure that the PSD picks are not set in stone right now.

The purpose of the final list lodgment (which I think is due Wednesday) is to allow for any last-minute delistings (unlikely this year) and to allow clubs to potentially create additional spots on their list by playing silly buggers with inside/outside veterans (more likely).

That's the correct order. Reserved ladder positions, same as the ND.

Cool...I stand corrected...thanks.

I read on the AFL website today there still is a third list lodgement before the PSD. Does anyone really think any lists will change here and if so how and why?

My draft order for PSD (possibly) is:
1/- MELBOURNE
-Greg Bentley's possible. Given their taste for youth, I think it's more likely they'll take someone who missed out in the ND.
2/- PORT ADELAIDE
-Josh Carr
we've known this for a while
3/- ESSENDON
-it seems to be that Hayden Skipworth is the big tip. Unless for some ridiculous reason (given their re-building and youth policy) they take Cousins I can't see anyone else they'd take.
4/- CARLTON
-Chris Johnson
again they've known this for a while
5/- BRISBANE
-Nick Davis
Voss seems to be making positive noises about him and he fills a forward line need.
6/- RICHMOND
-the hardest pick to pick I feel. I'd like to see them draft Fort Caruso, but I don't think they will. Cockshell is probably more likely. Again Cousins a possibility but unlikely.

The only spoilers to this are obvilously Cousins.
Also if any club decides to take Robin Nahas, which I would reccommend.
Or if all clubs decide to take leftover talent that missed out in the ND because they consider this year's crop such a 'deep' draft.

Anyone have any other mail on the PSD?

1. Melbourne - Casey Sibosado
2. Port Adelaide - Josh Carr
3. Essendon - Kade Klemke
4. Carlton - Chris Johnson
5. Brisbane - Nick Davis
6. Richmond - Tom Rockliff

1. Melbourne - Matt De Boer
2. Port Adelaide - Josh Carr
3. Essendon - Chris Johnson
4. Carlton - Casey Sibosado
5. Brisbane - Nick Davis
6. Richmond - Kade Klemke

No way will the Dees pick Deboer over Sibasado, have you looked at their list, they don't need Matthew, pure wishful thinking on your part.

I like Kade Klemke, I think Richmond would be gettting a real steal, I was very much hoping Sydney would go for him, alot of talent and a good leader.

no chance the dees will pick up de boer

here's my order

1. Melb - Casey Sibasado - they will take him, cause like naita he could be a major flop or an absolute gun. would like melb to take Rockcliff, just reminds me of robbo without the leap.

2. Port - Josh Carr - still am dumbfounded a to why they want to take him back, but they will

3. Essendon - Hayden Skipworth - prob will take the risk on skipworth, apparently they really, really like him and like what he's done at bendigo.

4. Carlton - Chris Johnson - still hate this c%&t for leaving melbourne, just as he is starting to play good footy, we put a few years of development into him. Is pretty soft but carlton have a good young team and can afford to take him. He is a pretty good player though.

5. Brisbane - Nick Davis - may take the risk on davis to play in and around the goals for them, although rockcliff could be a more long term option here.

6. Richmond - Tom Rockliff - the tiges will end up taking rockcliff, a great young player, was b&f in a premiership team that included the names of Sidebottom and ziebel, will become a good mid sized forward at afl level.
