Pre-season - news hungry fan

It is pre -season as we all know and I for one am counting the hours till the new season begins.
As a result of being news hungry I grabbed the Inside Footy and the following stories are in it that I am just going through.
And no, I live in Darwin and do not work for the paper, just snapping up any news/stories I can to see me through to the NAB Cup....

Good lenghty 3 page story on Rod Ashman (interviewed by none other than our own David Rhys-Jones) in which Rod explains what he is doing at the club and how all the players have to have something to do with their spare time to nullify chances of getting into trouble and finishing their career with nothing to show for it. Goes on to say the players are given work placements / career guidance / study, etc.
All good news and the gist is the club is more professional now in every department.

Also, in the draft ratings we got a B+ based on getting Kreuser alone.

A bit on the upcoming Judd / Stevens midfield partnership to ... ~

In a slow news time it is a good read.

Also, I see a lot on this board regarding players with the same names popping up... I reckon we could see the likes of Aisake and benji pop up in '08 to set the place alight..would be good.

Also, a little worried about the groin of Judd and the shoulder of Walker..it is Tex's second shoulder operation.

Judd's groin is going well.
He ran a 10.30 around PP for the 3km time trial just recently. Rehab and all that's the best at the club IIRC.

I think you may be right about Aisake, and also I think Hampson will surpirse a few in 2008.
Benji was singled out by Stevens recently as improving a lot so you may be right there, but so far the training reports don't seem to back it up a lot.
