Is it automatic that the premier goes up bunk no even up for debate? Or is it optional that premiers of any division goes up? Just that 99% accept the invite to go up?I think the Berwick example shows that the league should be considering an extra relegation in some cases.
Some leagues have two up / two down - personally I prefer one/one (win the flag to go up). But it can stifle movement between the divisions when you have more than one really shit team.
I would say that if the second-last team wins two games or less (as they may only beat the bottom team) AND a percentage below 50% it shows they’re uncompetitive and shouldn’t be in the league.
Of course you can’t force anybody to be promoted so I would offer their spot to the runners-up in the next division down. If they take it then good, if they don’t then things stay as is.
But Park Orchards would be a better shot in Premier than Berwick I reckon.

I find it hard to believe that Bayswater oval wouldn’t host the premier grand finalEB to host Premier GF in 2025
They will be hosting the Premier Final. Firstly, clubs have to pay and nominate that they want to host; secondly, it gets announced mid-year. EB hasn't end of rumour.I find it hard to believe that Bayswater oval wouldn’t host the premier grand final
Have heard the Bayswater might not be putting in for it. The time and effort combined with zero crowd till GF day. Is it worth it?EB to host Premier GF in 2025
Ready to go

Surely Walker Park is the best venue for EFNL finals and why it is called the MCG of the East.Grand final D2 last year we had over 100 plus volunteers senior, junior, cricket personal.Awesome atmosphere with a big crowd but perhaps some of you might think I am biased, lol.Bayswater probably lucky they haven't featured in finals too strongly in recent years so they can have supporters rostered on. Clubs like Boronia & Mitcham have had to decide whether to watch their own team or assist in running finals.
No parking at Mitcham. Crazy in the side streets.Surely Walker Park is the best venue for EFNL finals and why it is called the MCG of the East.Grand final D2 last year we had over 100 plus volunteers senior, junior, cricket personal.Awesome atmosphere with a big crowd but perhaps some of you might think I am biased, lol.
It seems you have not been there for a while.A 2 tiered car park behind the grandstand which will take 200 plus cars plus all the other parking spots around the Whitehorse Council offices.Public transport the 901 bus or if train Mitcham Railway Station then a 5 min walk.As for parking can you please name a better venue? No parking at Mitcham. As for facilties we put a lot of work into the upgrade of the rooms and social rooms and many rate the best in the EFNL league.
