Double gameweek for City and Everton this week, starts Thursday morning I think

1. I've scored 225 points with Doherty to come.
2. Left Alonso on the bench

Bad news

1. I've had 2 players not play (Rashford and Aubameyang) with no sub ie 225/8+C
2. Could have had Aguero
3. 19 points behind in Big footy league
4. 7 points behind in eliminator.
5. No goalkeeper for next week/ limited trades.

I'd normally be pretty happy with a score of 150 but's it's not that great compared to some other scores in this round.

Got big scores from Aguero, Sterling and Eriksen but a DNP from Aubameyang, no Pogba and negative scores from Alonso and Arrizabalaga hurt me.

Both players missed penalties, I traded Aubameyang at least, 6 more points there

Wasn't just the EPL title race that came down to the last day, but our league finished 17th overall & won by a bloke that finished rank 2 overall.
go you pups finished 3rd in the league & 62nd overall, don't know who it is from here by username but the team "Mo Virgil Lovren" finished 4th & 41st overall.

Looking forward to doing it again next year, hopefully we can get a few more people to join up as well!

Yeah that Thanh guy just killed it for months

Couldn't go with him and the other leaders from like December onwards

Pretty disappointing end to the season considering I lead the comp for a few weeks early on having nailed my starting side, 62nd just stunk, was ruined by the FA Cup, too many donuts some weeks with fixturing issues. 15-35 was my regular position for most of the season until about March.

Just like all other fantasy football games though, if you don't nail you trades, you'll struggle

A Liverpool heavy side was the way to go looking at it, they avoided all the FA Cup carnage, only the 3 Liverpool players in my completed side wasn't enough, needed 5-6 I think (Mane, TAA, VVD etc would've all helped on top of Salah, Allison and Robertson)

Yep, I didn’t expect their defence to be so good for so long & didn’t want to overload, as just conceding one goal can end up costing you 20+ points easily..

I improved my rank from about 200 to finish at about 150 late on, but no matter how I was scoring it was frustrating to not really move when it seemed to be a good score. Trouble with any fantasy game & ending up with fairly similar teams.

As you said about nailing trades, timing is everything. An injury or suspension stopped me from going Sane to Pogba just when he had his real purple patch, if I nailed that I could have ended up going a lot better. In the EPL fantasy, I had Mane from the start & got rid of him before he went on to score in about 7 straight games, it’s annoying lol

So inconsistent, never want to pick him in any EPL fantasy comp I do in the future

That was me, last round loss cost me 2 places.

My starting team was poor, but my trading got me back in it. Funnily enough my DT and SC teams are progressing the same way.

I sent you an invite to the EPL King which was a top ten comp last year. You really set the standard early with some big scores before falling in a heap like most of us. Same guy has won the last 2 years. Would love to have you back, it's a competitive comp with plenty of banter plus some quality AFL RDT chat.

I always prioritise overall rank compared to leagues unfortunately

Always played fantasy sports that way be it FPL/EPLDT, supercoach, AFLDT etc



I am doing a supercoach draft though at the moment, tis a cash draft, so more on the line there

There's some interesting midpricers around

Sterling has been upgraded to forward status, a great move imo for the integrity of the competition and will offer more PODs in the forwards department to choose from instead of the same old bland, boring Kane/Aguero/Salah combo that has reigned supreme the last 2 years

A few I think could be worth a punt (not sure on injury/transfer status but look like value)
