Just having the 1 price rise is probably the kicker not to, rather than the full 3Burnley, Spurs and United 3 of their next 4 so probably not.
Yo Ossie, you're aware of the rolling lockout yeah? 5 donuts hurts bigtime at this time of the year, I'd just be picking certain starters at the moment. I had Clyne as an unused sub also, but he was on my bench at least. Alderweireld and Rose were also on my watchlist, but they're only going to be traded in on the bubble now as their job security isn't great.100 despite 0/5 defenders played
Wish the first game was the same time for most of the Saturday games so it could have been avoided, 3 were unused subs & 2 missed out altogether.
So a shit start when it could have been much better, can’t remember my ranking last year but it was pretty decent so this is a very annoying start. Knew it was a risk for picking 3 spurs defenders, but good cash cow options if they all play.
Alderweireld, Rose, Tripper, Ward (CP) & Diop (WHU) all treated themselves to donuts. Trying to avoid trades this week so will probably just change formation, otherwise make a couple to just set the team up better

Can change everything up during the gameweek as long as your players teams hasn't played. Your formation and trades are locked in though once the first match if the round starts.
Fair enoughThis ain’t my first rodeo
I totally missed the Spurs team being out before it already started, otherwise probably would have traded. Probably little chance of winning any prizes, so would prefer to re-evaluate after next week to get in any cash cows but did not think at all that none would appear.
Trippier is an assist king in waiting, Rose should start ahead of Davies & I thought Toby would still be a lock even after rumours of him wanted out. Can understand the WC being a factor, but if they aren’t in next week I’ll start to worry. Also thought Ward would start as he’s a regular, Diop was just a cheap option that should play a lot considering what they paid for him
Fair enough
I'd absolutely be trading one of Rose or Alderweireld to Mendy though. Mendy is the biggest lock down back imo at his price, while Alderweireld and Rose are both behind Davies and Sanchez/Vertonghen at the moment due to both being in Pochs bad books. Once you're in his bad books, you normally stay there, see Townsend, Bentaleb, Adebayor for example and he was happy to cash in on Walker too.
Trippier will start again once Poch thinks he's fit enough, but might not be until September maybe. Upgrade target for mine.
I've tried to stay away from the deep World Cup types like anyone who played for France, Belgium and England as they had bugger all rest and question marks were on their fitness, Mendy is the only one I'm rolling with but he should be fresh as Diver Hernandez started ahead of him.
I guess for now, roll with a back 2 or back 3 formation, hope you get some starts down back and hope the rest of your mids/fwds are starting to minimize any more donuts.
I picked Clyne as a cheapie too (similar to your thinking on Rose/Alderweireld), but I have Mendy, Holebas, Azpilicueta and Adam Smith to soften the blow of him not playing. Hopefully Clyne is rotated by Klopp, might not be til CL starts though
Burnley are stingy at home, Watford will probably score 0 or 1 goal.Just having the 1 price rise is probably the kicker not to, rather than the full 3
But if he does it again against Burnley then he potentially gets to 9-10 million by the end of GW4, even with likely mediocre scores of around 4-6 against Spurs and United
Wait and seeBurnley are stingy at home, Watford will probably score 0 or 1 goal.
If Watford do well this week I will consider one of those two 100%. Personally, I don't rate them and they are pretty average in my eyes. If they can get a result this week I might change my mindset on them a tad.Wait and see
Glad I started with Holebas though, he takes their free kicks, even when they'll be up against Spurs and United soon he may still go ok. Hope he turns out like a poor mans Baines/Alonso

Another dud game from Eriksen, at least I've nailed most of my cash cows so far and aren't heavily relying on him for scoring power yet.
He had plenty of chances tonight but didn't deliver, some of his crosses and set pieces were really off the radar, hopefully the tide turns for him sooner rather than later, maybe he's a little tired still from the World Cup. Copped Ozil last year to start with, hope Eriksen doesn't stoop that low
Wowee, Aguero and Mendy dominating already
Time for Bernardo Silva to join in on the act
He missed out on the goal scoring party, you'd be laughing if you have Aguero though with 3 goals, hopefully Salah can do something similar against Palace.
