I’m done for the year on this one, see you next season!

11/60, last minute captain change from Havertz (16) to Diaz (3). 0 for GK was really a +1 as Ederson was on thr bench in case of loophole. WIN!!

Palmer I was bringing in next week, probably won’t be able to afford him now

Finished on 191 which moved me up 89 places to 10th overall, captain Palmer scoring over half of those points.

I would have scored over 200 if I started Harwood-Bellis instead of Alexander-Arnold but that would have been pretty stupid.

Chin up mate. Everyone has an annus horribilis.
Just because you can't win, doesn't mean you should give up.
Last 5 years, your worst finish has been 185th.

You're 180 pts off top 200, so with 30 weeks to go, that's only 6 pts per week.
You've missed Palmer, look elsewhere. A poor game by him, and you're back in it.
You got the Super League 20 spot to fight for also, for this year, and to qualify for next.

Finished on 105, dropped 7 places to 17th overall.

I traded ESR and Winks to Fernandes and Grealish, I wish I had traded in Kovacic instead after he scored a double against Fulham

You keeping Hendo? BE is 12.

Soucek is -5. Can keep another week.

But I'm thinking you need funds for Saka?
Yeah, need some funds for Saka! While id like to keep Soucek, i think he is an obvious downgrade. I could downgrade a defender (Milenkovic being the main option) but i dont mind the matchups.

Tempted to do Konate > Collins

Konate out with Chelsea and Arsenal coming up and Collins in with Man U, Ippy, Fulham, Bournemouth, Everton, Leicester, Villa before matchups get tough again. That said, Brentford's defending has been woeful but i think i can spare the trade to make more money.

This takes me further away from my ideal team but it helps with cash generation significantly which may end up saving me a trade down the road. With this move, THB and Henderson are my only weaknesses as everyone else is making cash and/or scoring me significant points (& Whiteman is a loop)

2.65M in the bank

Who are the long term mid premiums, do you think?

Do Foden, Fernandes and KdB still appeal?
Those 3 appeal a little but i dont think im confident in trading in more than 1 of them. Foden and KdB are under consideration but as good as Foden was at times last season, im wary of him being benched a fair bit. Im not really factoring in his scores this season as he came back late from the Euros and may have had a niggle (?). If the price is right, i could see myself going for him.

Bruno has obviously been terrible so is going to be very cheap soon. Man U are really struggling though and id like to see 2-3 good weeks from Bruno before committing. I think if you can get the timing exactly right with him, it could be a great move because he is seriously cheap. Like i said though, personally id need to see the start of a good run for him and Man U as a whole before selecting him, at that point he may only be slightly underpriced though. So, i think its a good move IF you can time it right. Id rather avoid the headache for the time being though. If i can keep generating cash i will be more willing to trade him in at a slightly higher priced once he turns his form around.

KdB is the best of the 3 i think but may be a luxury given his price tag. Ideally he would come back from injury on the bench for 2 or 3 rounds and then get him at a discount. Wishful thinking maybe, but could happen!

So i guess overall, all 3 could definitely be good but id say Kdb > Foden > Bruno is the pecking order. Taking prices into account and i think the margins are pretty small but id still have the same order.

Im in no hurry to trade in any of them though given i have Palmer/Havertz/Maddison/Bowen who are the current top 4 mids based on averages :)

I'm tempted to get Fernandes cheap soon and use him as a stepping stone to one of the other two. Not sure yet.

I thought about Bruno before the game that he scored -4 with the red card. Im so glad i didnt go there but that is behind us now. He is at a price that there really isnt much potential downside - in fact id wager there is none - so he is a 'safe' selection. If everything goes right, it could be an inspired trade but for me, i just want to wait until he produces before i think about going there.

Definitely wouldnt talk you out of that trade. Could be a good stepping stone or even a keeper, we will see!
