Thank you guys for allowing me to be a Bulldog(I am a Demon originally) for the short period. For that I am grateful. I have always loved the Bulldogs and have had them as my second team for the simple fact that I respect them, their guts, their tenacity. They realised that everyone from the seasoned veterans to the newest breed need to work as one unit. And when it does and done right it is translated in success. How can you possibly put into words what's happened over the past 4 weeks. It's simply the greatest premiership that's ever been won. Footscray FC wrote history today. The game needed this after all the recent bullshit scandals and corruption. Am lucky enough to work at the G as a ground attendant. Bulldog fans, a credit to your club, what an insane atmosphere, something I'll never forget. The 'force' was with you guys, you could feel it all week. Congratulations and enjoy.

Spent the day sitting beside a well spoken old fella who must have been in his 70s. He was a bit private school & stiff upper lip. A very articulate old fella, kept up an intelligent running commentary the whole game. His missus didn't say a word.

Then with a minute to go when they knew we'd won they broke out in a massive flood of tears.

Bloody great day. A few people had said that there was usually a better atmosphere at the prelims because of all the corporates. Not today. The G was rocking to its foundations. I've never experienced anything like it.

I know you're supposed to say that the birth of your kids is the greatest moment ever. Now, I love my kids dearly but watching them get borned was weird and icky.

I'd rather watch the Tom Boyd kick a goal from outside 60m to deal a premiership any day of the week.

Only the last 2 weeks. I thought GWS had the better chance of knocking off Sydney. I was wrong!

I took issue with the way your preliminary final victory was 'celebrated' and yes I tipped Sydney to win today. Again I was wrong, doesn't mean that I am salty or bitter that the Bulldogs won the whole thing. I acknowledged on the main board that they did have a good year and played the best out of the teams in the final 8, at finals time

You should go further and mention how ****ing good they were 4 weeks of finals. A good year - bollocks. A ripping final series in which only giants got close.

- Sydney, the best team of the home and away season, at the MCG.

And then you throw in the premiership drought. And the injuries this year. Amazing.
