It adds value yes, as a premium, but the value the Richmond poster quoted is not realistic. Like jboyar, I have collected older memorabilia for years. I have signed stuff, and whilst they are priceless to me, I would never sell it. You may get some Dogs supporters bidding higher on ebay for the historical value, but there is always the issue of authenticity. Hard to verify sigs of people no longer around, so limits any resale value.

For anyone interested in the 1954 players, apart from the Coles cards, many of the 54 flag team also feature on the Argus cards of the same era. Haven't got mine in front of me atm, but from memory between the 3 x 54/55 Coles sets and the Argus set, 19 of the 20 are represented (I think there is no Jack Nuttall).
Where can you get them?

Where can you get them?

I've purchased them from several places over many years. - these days unfortunately best bet is eBay, but be wary of buying anything not in good to very good condition. Don't believe any of the crap where sellers say "rare old cards", then charge a ridiculous price for torn tattered cards. In the past, there were a number of good card shops, but most have disappeared, also antique/collectables stores many years ago didn't realise what they had, and sold them fairly cheaply. Some of the bets cards I bought I bought at places like Tilba in NSW, or outskirts of Adelaide, but these days they are much harder to find.

Cards look like this:

and in good condition can go for anywhere from $20-$60 plus, depending on the player (Whitten cards are a premium, and Sutton and Collins can be too).

Does anyone have, mor know where I can get a copy of the picture that accompanied the Bulldog Tragician's article on the Western Bulldogs FB page?
It is of the crowd after the siren at the GF and there is a girl with a feathered headdress on standing right in the middle of the picture.

I have been looking for this picture since the GF as I am right in the middle of it and I want to make up a piece of memorabilia including that picture - I saw the lady take the photo on GF day and I was hoping it would surface soon

I have asked a few people on the FB page, but no one has gotten back to me yet

Please help!

Anyone know where I could get the mark knight poster laminated? I bought the poster at the g after the game but want to laminate it to protect it

The Herald-Sun Shop online is promoting a DVD Victory Pack with 5 DVDs. If I can reasonably assume 4 of the DVDs are devoted to one finals game each, what would be on the fifth disc?

Poster Costs $3.00 Office works will laminate for $8. My mum has already done this :)

I'm looking to frame mine when I can find a place that does it cheaply.
Look for places situated in industrial estates where they're not paying so much rent as they would in a shopping centre and can therefore reduce their charges.

Anyone framing posters with the intention of mounting it - just remember to choose a wall which will be able to accommodate more posters... :D
Trying to find a good spot around the Geelong stuff hogging our walls :screamcat:. Fortunately the 3 Weg Cats posters are in the garage but the team ones are taking up space in the lounge :rage:.

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the match day and newsagent versions of the grand final record other than the front cover?

Why do they produce two versions?

Why do they produce two versions?

The match day record had a couple of extra pages in the centre with the actual teams while the newsagent version was printed just after the prelim so had a general list of players that may have played in the GF in it. Apart from the middle 2-4 pages both copies are identical.
